Melanie's P.O.V

I walked to the ninja academy with older brother, Rukino. We arrived at the ninja academy and I started getting nervous. Rukino waved bye and walked away. I took a deep breath and opened the doors to the academy. I walked down a hall way that had two doors at the end.
I pushed the doors open and walked in the class room. I looked around, not paying any attention to what or who was in front of me. I bumped into someone and fell to the ground.
"Sorry," I heard someone say, I looked up and seen a boy with white hair and a mask on. He offered me a hand and I took it.
"I-It's fine." I said nervously, looking the other way. He rubbed the back of his neck nervously,
"I'm Kakashi, Kakashi Hatake." He said looking at me, I was still so nervously. I could barley speak, I finally got some sound out,
"I-Im Melanie Donochii." I said nervously, he smiled.
"You wanna sit beside me?" He asked smiling, I nodded and followed Kakashi to the seat next to his. I sat down and seen a couple girls were glaring at me. Then one of the girls walked up to me and Kakashi,
"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!" She asked angrily, I was kinda scared.
"You have no right sitting beside the hottest guy in the class!" She said angrily again, I started to move but Kakashi grabbed my arm.
"Don't listen to them. You can sit here." He said smiling at me, I nodded slowly. The girl stormed off and went to her group. Another girl came back and said,
"Hey, follow me." In a normal voice, I nodded and followed the group of girl outside. The blonde one glared at me,
"What were you thinking?" She asked angrily, I was shaking in fear. She smirked evilly and kicked me in the stomach. I flinched in pain and held my stomach as it throbbed of pain. They started laughing evilly and kneed me in the face. Which made me fling back and my back hit a tree. I screamed in pain and my mouth and nose was bleeding. They kicked me non stop until I blacked out, they kicked me one last time as I was unconscious and walked back into the academy.

Kakashi's P.O.V

I heard the class room doors open and the group of girls that asked Melanie to follow them came back inside. Melanie wasn't with them, I started to get worried. I hope nothing happened to her. I don't want her to get hurt. I thought to myself, hoping for the best.

Third Person's P.O.V

After class Kakashi walked out of the academy and looked around. He seen Melanie, all bruised up and was bleeding. He ran over to Melanie,
"Melanie! Are you alright?! Melanie!" He said shaking her gently, still no answer from her. He picked her up and ran back into the academy and to the nurses office. The nurse started to treat her wounds as Kakashi waited worryingly.

Melanie's P.O.V

I woke up in the nurses office, I still felt a little bit of pain throbbing in my stomach.
"Melanie!" I heard Kakashi said, I looked at him and smiled slightly.
"Kakashi." I said sitting up,
"You shouldn't try to sit up!" He said worryingly,
"I'm fine." I said still smiling slightly,
"Who did this to you?" Kakashi asked, I looked away. I told him the names, he hugged me.
"Thank you Melanie." He said, he let go of me and went to go tell the teacher. When he told the teacher and the girls got suspended for five days.

Kakashi's P.O.V

After I told the teacher the girls names he told me,
"Okay. They'll be suspended," He said firmly,
"They'll just be suspened?! Why not exspelled?!" Kakashi asked, the teacher smiled.
"I need you to do me a favor," The teacher said smiling at me, Why is he smiling?! This isn't the time to smile! I thought to myself.
"What is it?" I asked, the teacher's smile got wider.
"I want you to protect Melanie." He said still smiling, my face got really red. I'm so glad I where this mask. I thought to myself. I nodded and walked back to the nurses office. When I got there I seen Melanie running towards me and hugged me. I started blushing and hugged back.
