Once Again

Chapter 16

Castle Of Ruiniz....

All of the soldiers are attending the ceremony at the palace before go to the expedition. It's a tradition that the soldiers must get their bless from the emperor and also they will meet their family before go to the war. Archduke Evan Leonard are the one who led the army to obtain blessing from the emperor. They are also the citizens of Ruiniz attend the ceremony to wish their safety and pray for them. After that, all of the soldiers get to see their family for 15 minutes since they need to wait for the horse to get ready. 

Evan approached Raenifer who was sitting near the emperor since the emperor want to talk with her. "Wait for me" said Evan and Raenifer nodded with a worry face. She was scared if something happen to Evan. But, at the same time she believe that Evan will return to her with the victory of hunting. They must kill all of the monster so that the monster cannot enter the kingdom and kill their citizens.

"Whatever happen you must come back home understand??" said Raenifer. Evan chuckled and hug Raenifer tightly. 

"Ehemm... Arghhh I'm so jealous of you guys" said the emperor and make a jealous face to them. "Where is Tyra??" asked Evan to his brother. But, the emperor just stay quiet and his face changed after heard Tyra name. 

"Did you fight with her??"

"No"

"Then, why you make her come back to the military??"

"Her job is done. That's why I send her back"

"Did she dumped you??" guess Evan. "Yes...". After hearing the confession from the emperor, Raenifer was shocked but Evan just sigh. "I thought you will never give up on attracting Tyra because you already pursued her since you were a teen" said Evan. The emperor looks sad and didn't know how to answer.

"I'm tired...." that's is his answer. Raenifer feel sorry for the emperor because his unrequited love. "I didn't know how to pursue her anymore. She already said that she did not like me and she did not say that she like me even a little bit... So why do I have to force her. I bet she hated me so much since I make her as the asisstant not as the knight. I know that she likes fighting againts monster but still I cannot let her be like that because I love her... But now, I will give her back to you since she was under you and I will forget about her" explained the emperor.

"I'm sorry if I interrupt the conversations... Your Highness, you know what... If someone hate you or dislike you they must already quit their job but from what I saw. Miss Tyra was not like that... She never hate you or dislike you. She respect you as the emperor and still doing her job without any complain. One more thing, I think she also has some feelings for you" after heard that Ian stand up from his sit "What are you saying?!!"

"When I met her... Her eyes was shining when see you. But, she didn't show it to you because she has a firm appearance and serious face. I'm not sure if this prediction is correct and I also not sure about her true feelings about you... But, I'm also like her when seeing someone I like" said Raenifer and looks at Evan with a loving face. After that, the emperor looks much happier and maybe he will pursue Tyra back after hearing the explanation from Raenifer. "Thank you sister-in-law. I will try my best again and make sure she will reveal her true feelings about her. But, now she already prepared to go to the hunting, what should I do??"

"Don't worry, I will make sure all of us come back safe" then the time has arrived. All of the soldiers getting ready to start their and a lot of people waving at them and there are also shouting for their victory. Evan looks at Raenifer and smile at her. The emperor watch Tyra closely and think about Raenifer explanation earlier. The expedition maybe will end after 3 days but they're still not sure how many monster will they meet.

Time Skip...

Evan lead the expedition and he will give a command to the soldiers when they need to kill the monster. Not long after that, they saw a monster approached them and Evan command them to stay back because he will kill that monster since the monster was right in front of him. 

Evan use his mana on the sword and his attack was so fast and make all the soldiers awe at him. Then, he rides back the horse and continue to fin the monster. They was so many monster after they enter the forest and some of the soldiers were injured since the monsters was very vicious. But, they are monster who was easy to kill because they slow and small than the others. 

The healer are doing their job very well but some of them already finished their mana so the Duke was a little bit worry if the soldiers wounded will get worse if their wounds was not get treated. So, he decided to kill the monsters around them by himself. Tyra doesn't agree with the Duke but the Duke said that it's was his command and she must follow it eventhough she worried about the Duke. Thankfully, nothing happened to the Duke but his hand was injured because of the monster's claw earlier and he already kill the monster on that area. 

After that, they find a place to spend the night before continue their expedition. The soldiers make their tent to sleep in and they also get treated after the healer get their mana full back. Then, Leo went to the Duke tent and bring him one of the healer because his hand was injured. After that, Tyra also enter the tent and scold the Duke because of the decision he make earlier.

"Why must you fight alone?? I can help you Archduke" said Tyra with an angry face. "I don't want you and the others to get injured. That's why I fight alone" said the Duke calmly. Tyra sighed and she didn't know what to say anymore since the Duke was a stubborn person so he will definitely ignore what she said to him. 

"By the way, did you dumped my brother??" asked the Duke while taking off his shoes. Tyra just keep quiet and didn't say anything. "My brother really like you. I'm not forcing you to like him... So don't worry. I just want you to be reveal your true feelings if you like someone or hate someone. If you hate him just say it... I know he will not be mad because he love you and he will not force you to do anything you don't like"

Then, Tyra went back to her tent to get some rest and while she lay down, she think about the words that the Duke said to her.

"Maybe I should tell him the reason why I dumped him" said Tyra
