Changing Seasons: Connecting Hearts

Will it be on time?

"The world is beautiful. Whenever I close my eyes, I look at unknown memories. Those memories are beautiful yet nostalgic. I wish I could paint those memories on a big canvas."

It is night time. The spring breeze gives a cool sensation. Leaves of sakura trees and other trees are slightly moving because of the breeze.

Riri comes to her new room. She looks slightly tired. Today she helped her mother to keep things around in the correct places in the house. She lays down on her fluffy bed. She rubs her face on the pillow. Her face becomes red. She starts to think about tomorrow.

"Tomorrow I will go to a new school."

"To be percise, I'm in this new city because my parents have been transferred here."

"I don't know how my new school will be?"

"I don't know if I can make friends."

"It doesn't matter anymore. I was always alone."

Riri gets up and sits on folded knees.

"Oh, I have to pack my school bag before going to sleep."

Riri is nervous. So she closes her eyes tightly and blushes. Her face turns red.

"*Sighs*..... I'm really nervous."

Riri gets up and stands on her feet. Somehow, she controls her anxiety. This time she is in a relaxing position. There is a slight smile on her face.

"There is no use in thinking about tomorrow which we don't know."

The phrase she said was showing the emptiness in her heart.

[ Next Morning ]

Today Riri woke up early. She gets ready to go to school. She goes to the kitchen where Riri's mother has already prepared breakfast. Riri's mother is preparing to go to the clinic because she is a doctor.

Riri greets her mother with "Good Morning".

Mother and daughter look alike. Riri has pinkish red hair and shining golden eyes. Riri's mother has reddish orange hair and pale golden eyes.

Riri's mother turns.

"Good Morning! Riri-chan."

"Are you ready to go to school?"

Riri becomes nervous about her mother's question.

"Maybe...... I guess."

"Don't worry, Riri-chan. Everything will be alright." Riri's mother continues to say.

Riri was still nervous.

Riri's mother looks at the clock.

"Oh, it's time to go to the clinic."

"There is breakfast for you. Go to school after breakfast. Also, don't forget to lock the door properly."

"I'm going to the clinic. Be careful. Bye, Riri-chan."

Riri's mother is an exuberant person. She cheerfully bid, "Bye" to her daughter.

Riri always gets surprised by her mother's exuberant personality. Riri also says, "Bye" with a smile.

A few minutes later, after breakfast, Riri looked at the time.

"It's about time, I have to go to school now."

Riri closes the door. Goes down the stairs.

Although she is nervous. But she decides to face her nervousness.
