Chezem skids into the baths just a second before I do. He gets the huge bath filling with water and grabs me, pulling him to me. "I love you," he says for the thousandth time.

I smile up at him. "I love you too," I say. We kiss, saying everything that needs to be said with no words. Chezem strips off his soaking wet suit jacket and loses the tie. I only take a second to think about what might happen before I am helping him unbutton his shirt. He slowly unzips my dress, and I have to peel it off my wet skin. It hits the floor with a squish and we both laugh. We both shed our remaining clothes and I tear the remaining few pins from my hair as I climb into the warm water.

As fast as everything has been moving for the last hour, Chezem gives me space. We just soak for a while, sending each other electrically charged looks for several minutes. But I can't stay away from him and soon find myself in his arms. The soft touches and sweet kisses quickly turn into something hungrier, though he is ever gentle with me.

And after, when we have to slink through the darkened halls wrapped in nothing but towels—this time definitely naked—I feel content, my heart happy. I know Asaka will have questions in the morning and I know exactly what I'm going to tell her.

We most certainly did not have wild sex in the tub, like I once implied.

But it was pretty good for our first time.

Several days pass, Chezem and I barely leaving the comfort of his room. But today, we have no choice. We rise from bed, and he kisses me lazily before I slip away and get dressed. "There's no time for that," I tell him with a smile. "Asaka and Jun will be getting ready to leave for the honeymoon."

Chezem sighs, but leaves me be pulling his own clothes on. Once we are both decent, we leave the room and step into the real world. We hurry to see Asaka and Jun off at the front doors and we both pretend not to notice the knowing looks from the others. On the occasions where we have left his room, Mel always has a wisecrack, but today he remains silent. Asaka sees me and grins. She comes over and pulls me into a tight hug. "Congratulations," I tell her, holding her tightly. "You two have a safe trip. Make royal babies and I'll see you when you get back."

Asaka laughs. "Funny you should mention royal babies..." she trails off suggestively, quirking an eyebrow at Chezem. "You two have been working hard at it." He turns pink and clears his throat.

I chuckle. "Alright, alright," I say, raising my hands in surrender. "I'll stay out of your sex life if you stay out of mine."

"Deal," Asaka says, giving me a kiss on the cheek. She hugs everyone goodbye and takes Jun's hand in hers, kissing his knuckles tenderly.

"We will be back in a week," Jun says, looking at everyone sternly. "There will be no international scandals while we are gone," he says, looking directly at Melchiorre. "Lambert is in charge while we are away. Listen to him," he chastens.

Everyone laughs and we all say our last goodbyes. They disappear into the dark interior of the car and then they are gone. Chezem slides his arms around me and I sigh, leaning in to his touch. "Breakfast?" I ask.

"Breakfast," Ivan agrees, motioning for us to follow him.

We all find our seats at the table and, though Jun and Asaka are missing, it is as rowdy as possible. It might even be more so because of their absence. "So," Melchiorre says casually. He glances at me and smiles. "Just getting a head start," he says, leaning forward on one elbow. "You're going to name your kids after me, right?"

I laugh and shake my head. "You say that like you think it'll really happen." I point my fork at him. "Give me one good reason why I should."

"Oh," Melchiorre says with a mischievous smirk. "So there will be children, then?"

I blush straight to my roots and shoot a look at Chezem. He is eating calmly, pretending not to hear a word, but I know the truth. The tips of his ears are pink. "Uh..." I say quietly.

"Asaka was right," Alvah says with a smirk. "At the rate you two are going, there will be tiny feet running through the halls before you know it."

"Well," Chezem says, lifting his hands as if he can stop this conversation in its tracks. "Don't you think we should marry first?"

I slide a glance at him from the corner of my eye and feel my heart pick up. "Maybe," I say softly, chewing my lower lip.

"Hurry up and ask then," Lambert chastens. "Before she does get pregnant."

Chezem grumbles something under his breath and shakes his head. I wave my hands. "Alvah," I say quickly. "Kari was so nice at the wedding. You two are friends?"

He blushes slightly. "Yeah," he mutters, rubbing the back of his neck.

I cup my cheek in my hand, glad to have the attention off me for now. "She's pretty," I say, watching his blush deepen.

And then the other brothers take over for me, teasing Alvah relentlessly. Chezem and I excuse ourselves once we are finished and head back to our room to prepare for the day officially. "What do you want to do today?" I ask, running a brush through my hair and twisting the red locks into a braid.

"Oh," Chezem says, sounding like he is a million miles away. "We could go to the beach," he says offhandedly.

I turn to face him and a gasp fall off my tongue, seeing him resting on one knee in front of me, a small black box in his hands. I look from his face to the box and back, unable to form a coherent thought. He smiles a crooked smile and slowly opens the box to show me the ring inside.

"Lina...will you marry me?"
