"Kat. Kim, Betty, Wenny, Allen bedtime" My mother called. We didn't wanna fall asleep yet the story mom was reading just got interesting.
She put it away with a bookmark at the page tucked us in and went into the corridor the door closed with a soft click.
We all heard faint footsteps getting quieter, once we heard no more we got up and begged berltty to read the rest and she did.
As we where on a page and Allen had fallen asleep in my lap I heard a scream.
None else seemed to notice but I heard it and it was my mother's scream I yelled "MOM IS EVERYTHING OKAY" that's when Betty flinched and Allen shot up.
I heard her yell back "BETTY GRAB YOUR SIBLINGS AND HIDE" They went into Hiding but I was curious but I heard big boots clomping I slipped under my bed.
The door opened a guard in red looked around and shifted around walked out and closed the door. After sitting under the bed for what felt like a hour. I got up.
I had a gut feeling something wasn't right I walked into my parents and immediately broke down in tears and screamed. The others came in Allen sat in the corner crying Betty was sitting on the bed with moms body in her lap crying Kim and wenny where crying next to me.
