The day things changed Emily wasn't ready. Her parents had been fighting alot but she never expected this!
It all started one fall night she was laying in bed trying to go to sleep but she heard screaming and yelling. When she went into her parents ro they were yelling at each other, this happened many weeks after that. Then one night the screaming stopped earlier than normal. The next morning she woke to police sirens. When she went to figure things out she found her mother dead on the kitchen floor and her father hanging in the bathroom. She ran to her mother's dead body and started sobbing. As the police charged through the doors she started screaming at them to leave. The police pried her off of her mother. They sent her out to her aunt sitting in her car. As they sat there holding each other in their arms they cried and cried until a police officer came out and told them that her mother was murdered by her father and her father committed suicide. Emily would have to be sent to live with her aunt patty.
Her time with aunt patty was good but she wished her parents were still alive. So if your parents are fighting tell them life without them would be terrible.
