[On Hold] Why was I reincarnated as a ghost?!

Part 1 : I'm a GHOST!?

Please point out any grammar or spelling mistakes, I may have made in this and I will correct it. Fun thing, excluding this the entire story here is 1111 words, neat.

"WHAT THE HELL", I said in shock at my new appearance. that god mentioned that I'd be surprised but I thought he meant that I would be surprised that I would be a baby, NOT A GHOST. Is being a ghost really this weightle-- Hold on a second, was that my voice just now, It was kind of echoey. Why does my voice sound like that *sigh* ,wow even my sigh's are echoey, he he. Well I'm a ghost now just gotta live with it, even though I'm not alive.

So, what does a ghost usually do. Oh yeah, ghost can past through objects right. Hm, ok, let's try this tree. Here we go, wait.. how do I move? I guess let's just try and move first, do I just move like normal or do I have to do something special to move. Ok, let's try to move normally first... welp, I guess that didn't work. 

I'm still hovering can I at least touch the ground, how do I move down. So many things I need to figure out, who knew being a ghost was this complicated. 

...What if I.. oh so that's how I move, just like moving my entire body towards where I want to go. OK now let's try phasing through a tree

*THUD*

OOWWwwwwww, well doesn't that suck. I guess I can't go through objects, what else can a ghost do ... actually this is a isekai right so I should be able to look at my stats or something. How do you do that, was it like just saying "stats", "status screen", "open stats".

Um... ok then, so these are my stats huh. Looks like I keep my name other than other reincarnations that I have read in the past. On another note, why are my stats so low!? Well my mp and speed are quite high in just numbers but my are my other stats so low, wait now that I re-think that I'm a ghost why would I have high attack and defense anyway, and stamina forget it. I'm not even alive why would I need stamina. What are these [Soul Eyes] I've never seen this anywhere before. *accidentally taps the skill*

[Soul Eyes] : allows the owner to see into someone's soul, revealing their stats and skills. The user is also able to see the state of the person's soul.

Well isn't that handy. What's this [Ethereal Form] *click* *bling*

[Ethereal Form] : Allows the owner to pass through any object and turn invisible, but hallowed or cursed objects like blight wood are able to come into contact with passing through

Wait, so is that why I can't pass through this tree, It's because it's some blight wood tree. Well, this might get frustrating later on...

Now what? well, since I can't go through the tree I would think that I could stand on the ground. *stumbles a bit* phew, so that's what weightlessness feels like. I guess all I can do is explore this forest. 

After hours of exploring

Nothing much in this creepy forest, I wonder if I should find any human villages or something my guess is that this world is all medieval because most of these isekai stuff are medieval themed right, hm...What the hell is that.

"It's a.. dead wolf. WHY THE HELL IS IT MOVING", oh.. right I'm in an fantasy world. 

In front of me stood a wolf, but the wolf had an ominous feel around it and bits of it are rotting. The chipped bone it it's left back leg showing. There was a hole in the visible part of the wolf's skull, it looked like it was stabbed with a sword straight through it's head. Arrow were seen poking out of the wolf's blood soaked hide.

This thing seriously took a beating, Oh f*ck, it looked at me, wait I can turn invisible *turns invisible* hahaha now you can't see me. Y'know It's a bit funny seeing a grotesque looking wolf acting like a confused little dog. What is this thing anyway, right, I have [Soul Eyes].

Well, ain't this handy. A cursed Wolf huh, so it's literally a dead wolf? What does [Rotting] do, well I can guess that it makes you rot but are there any benefits to it at all.

[Rotting] : allows the owner great resistance to all physical attacks, diseases and lethal attacks without restricting performance with the side effect of continuously rotting, constantly losing Hp

Hey hold on, wouldn't that mean that he would die eventually if his Hp just constantly decreases. That's just sad.

Well, now that I know that there are actually monster in this forest, I'm just gonna stay invisible. See you never, cursed wolf.

I think I should find my way out of this forest, I'm getting tired of seeing tree after tree. How exactly am I gonna find the exit. Just go in a straight line and hope I get outta here. Walking in a straight line plan begins.

Many, many hours later

This is getting boring, I know. Let's try some magic, I don't know how to use it but at least I'll have something to do while walking through this forest. So which one to try first, [Wind Magic] seems easy enough. So do I just imagine it or something cliché like that. Well let's just give it a try, so let's try the basic like a wind blade. 

I put my hands in front of me and try to think of a blade made of wind 'cus that's just that's just what a wind blade is, a blade made of wind. Wind starts to concentrate around my hand and flattens. I could feel something leave my body, wait do I even have a body moving on, I assume that was my magic so I just left it. The flat blade on condensed air shot out and made a small but deep crevice in the trunk of a tree. 

So that was magic, I wonder if I can do multiple. I then do the same thing but imagine 6 blades of wind. The tree got 6 more cuts in it's trunk.

Oh, oh this will be fun. Anyway, onwards to where ever is in front of me. 

So, I continued my journey to who knows where while practicing magic.
