Chapter 4 : Math Class

Kahlia's POV

I was snapped out of my thoughts , when Grace came up behind me and whispered in my ear ,"She's single you know." " Huh?" I replied cluelessly. "I mean Malia ,she's single." "Oh why would I need to know that." I chuckled nervously trying to hide the fact I had a crush on the brown haired girl. Grace then replied with a "mmhm".I just rolled my eyes and sat in a random seat, then the person next to me tapped my shoulder. When I turned to see who it was my eyes went wide when I saw a smiling Malia."Hi , your Kahlia right? Kira's cousin." I nodded and said, "Yeah,your Malia right?" I acted as if I didn't already know. She nodded and was about to say something else when the teacher started to speak...

30 minutes later

Right now we were taking a pop quiz to see were we were before getting actual work. Next to me I heard a pencil tapping ferociously, when I turned I saw Malia making a confused face down at her paper. I looked down at her paper and she was still on the first question. I decided to help her so I tapped on her table and handed her a note that said 'here you can copy my answers' she looked up at me and smiled gratefully .

◉ At Lunch ◉

Once lunch time came around I went to the lacrosse field because, Liam said he wanted me to go see him practice before lacrosse tryouts today. Once I got there somebody covered my eyes from behind me and I heard a voice, "Guess who? " It was Malia. "I turned around and said "Hey Malia" "Hey ,I just wanted to say thanks for helping me in math class." I then replied with,"It's no problem, really." She smiled and said, "I was wondering if you could come over to my house after school and help me study?" I was shocked "Uhh y-yea of course" I stuttered out. "Cool I'll see you later" she handed me a small piece of paper and said "here's my number" I smiled and said"bye ,see you later." She smiled and left. I walked over to the bleachers and sat down next to my cousin "Hey" "Hey,how's your first day going?" She said "So far ,so good" Liam came up to us and said "hey" he looked over to by cousin and said "Oh hi ,you must be kahlia's sister right." We chuckled ,and Kira said "Oh no I'm her older cousin" "oh okay ,I'm Liam by the way" "Kira" " okay well talk to you later , practice is starting wish me luck." he smiled and ran out to the field. A bit later on at lunch I told Liam I had to leave his practice early because I had to go to the main office to choose an elective because I forgot to fill out one of my form.

After school

Once school was over I texted Malia to see what time I should be at her house to study. She texted back and said to be there by 4:00 pm. After that I went home and took a quick shower then got ready to go over to Malia's to 'study' .
