Chapter 8

~Few Days Later~

It's been few days since you accepted the offer to be the manager, everything was going rather smooth , You and Kuroo got along more as your crush grew upon him more. Kuroo and You walk home together almost everyday and Kiyoshi joins you sometimes though he wouldn't say it but you still knew most of the time he makes some lame excuses to leave you two walk alone .

The was Team also working really hard for the upcoming Inter-High Prelims and you relationship with the team also grew really well.

"Good Morning L/n-san" Lev chippered .

"Oh Good Morning Lev. I see you are not late Today" You said and saw the tall boy getting all embarrassed  "I'm not always late" he said defensively "Oh I'm only kidding dummy" you giggle.
"Her smile is beautiful" Lev thought.

"Oi Lev stop fooling around and practice"The captain yelled at the first year so Lev went to the Court.

"You are really getting well with the Team" Kiyoshi said behind you "Yeah I didn't think it would go that well" You as he approached you and stood beside you looking at the court "Thank you" you said not looking at him "Why?" Kiyoshi asked raising an eyebrow "Because you injured your hand and I got a chance to become the manager" you giggled while Kiyoshi side hugged you "Well aren't I awesome?" he asked "Yes you are" you smiled.

"Aww you two look so cute together" Yaku cooed looking at both of you which also caused the team to turn towards you "No don't tell me L/n-san is dating" Yamamoto yelled dramatically. "What No we are just friends" you quickly said "Awe L/n stop being Adrien" Yaku said being disappointed.

While you were convincing the team that you and Kiyoshi were not dating ,you failed to notice the hazel eyes that were piercing through your soul "Will you all leave L/n and Kiyoshi alone and get to practice?" Kuroo shouted and all went to practice again. You mouthed a 'Thank You' to Kuroo while he gave you a tiny smile.

After practice you walked to the class with Kiyoshi. When you entered the class you were greeted by a smiling Sumiko "Hey how was your practice?" she asked
"Good. The team is working really hard overall it was great but-" You stopped "But?" Sumiko raised an eyebrow "But Kuroo was a bit off today" Kiyoshi finished "Why" she asked again "Well we don't know. I think I will ask him today while going home" You said as both of your friends nodded.

Unfortunately Kuroo's mood was no better during the evening practice. He was gloomy throughout the practice so you decided you are gonna make him spill whatever is bothering him.

You were waiting for Kuroo to approach while Kiyoshi came upto you "Waiting for Kuroo?" you nodded "Well I will leave you two alone to talk or it might get awkward with me around so I'm gonna go-" Kiyoshi was interrupted by Kenma "Y/n are you waiting for Kuro?" Kenma asked you "Yes I'm do you know where he is?" you asked
"Actually Kuro left a few minutes ago"
"He did?" Kenma nodded "I thought its better to tell you because you were waiting for him" He said now bringing out his consoler "I see.Thank you Kenma .I will go now, Bye" with that you and Kiyoshi left.

Kuroo's POV:-

I was about to approach L/n when I saw Kiyoshi walking towards her. The scene from today's practice popped up in my mind. How everyone was shipping the two of them and it made me feel sick so I decided to leave them alone "Kenma!" I called him "What is it Kuro?"
"Can you tell L/n that I already left?"
"Huh?But-" Kenma started but Kuroo cut him off "Just do it I don't want to make her late" Kenma nodded and went to them.

Your POV:-

You sighed for the 5th time on the way to home "Stop overthinking will you?" Kiyoshi rolled his eyes "I'm not"
"Oh then why are you sighing you much?Everytime you are stressed or overthink you keep sighing" You rolled you eyes at him and smiled "Why do you have to know me so well?"
"I can't get it out of my mind. Why is Kuroo acting so weird?" you asked him.
"I'm sure every thing will be back to normal soon" Kiyoshi said while you nodded.

After arriving home the first thing you did was to text Kuroo.

You:
Hey are you home yet?

Kuroo.T:-
No.why?

You:-
No I was just thinking you
                                 were off today, Is there something bothering you?

Kuroo.T:
No I'm ok. I was just not feeling well.

You:
Oh If you ever feel low you can
talk to me ok?

Kuroo.T:
Yeah alright.

"I guess he's not in the mood to talk" you thought and sighed one last time before going to bed.
