~Earlier that day~
"So PB, what 'cha got for us?" Asked Jake, as he and Finn walked into my lab.
I took off the goggles from my eyes, and put the test tube back on the rack.
"I called you guys here for a favor. A mission, actually." I stated.
"Cool! What's the mission!?" Finn asked excitedly, itching for adventure. I smiled at his enthusiasm.
"I noticed that...some of my supplies are missing. Mostly those that can be used in making lasers and robots." Finn and Jake were listening attentively. Good. "It was a good thing I put tracking devices in them. Then, I searched for the signal they emitted."
From my pocket, I pulled out a device. It looked similar to a T.V. remote, though a red screen dominated about two-third of its front. A miniature satellite dish was on its top. I turned it on.
"The signal was coming from the eastern part of Narakunai Mountain.* I wasn't able to track whe- Hey!"
Finn and Jake were dozing off when I yelled.
"Ah! I didn't take the mustard!" Exclaimed Jake, drool dripping from his mouth.
Finn looked like someone had slapped him across the face.
"W-we're listening!" They both immediately exclaimed. I gave them a deadpan look that said, "Really?" They chuckled nervously.
"Anyway, I need the both of you to retrieve my supplies from the thief. Use this to find them. I'm not entirely sure where the exact location is, though," I said, giving the tracking device to Finn. Though, I felt reluctant to give it to him for some reason.
