"Happy birthday son",my dad said as I entered his office.
"Thanks dad".
"I heard you rejected the gift I bought you. I thought you wanted that",my dad said.
"I do",I replied
"Then why return it?", he asked.
"Because I can get that myself".
"So what do you want then?", he asked. I looked at him skeptically.
"You don't wanna know dad. Besides, it's not like you can give it to me".
My dad chuckled.
"If I remember correctly, I'm still one of the most powerful men in the country so I'm pretty sure what you want won't make a dent to my money".
I looked at him and laughed quietly.
"You sure dad? I want you to promise me",I said looking him straight in the eye.
"You have my word, son. Anything you want will be yours",he replied.
"Mr Chambers daughter,Reine", I said quietly,sliding a picture over to him.
He looked shocked for a moment, then smirked.
"Like father, like son,huh?"
"What can I say?", I asked in return.
"Consider her yours".
