The taller girl didn't know why her girlfriend was acting weird today. The minute she had entered their shared home, her girlfriend was being cold.
"Hyun? I got you some tteokbokki.. Come, let's eat together" Seulgi said as she stood near their shared bedroom doors.
"I don't want to.. You can eat by yourself.." Irene said rudely, the other girl just sighed.
"Did I do something wrong? You're upset with me..."

"Baby... What's wrong-"
"I DON'T KNOW SEULGI... MAYBE FIGURE OUT WHY I'M MAD AT YOU!"
Seulgi was frustrated now.. She kept thinking of what she could've done wrong.
"You need to tell me Hyun... I really don't know.."
Irene glared at her. "Stop acting, think about it.. Until then don't speak with me.."
Seulgi felt her heart breaking.
That night they slept separately.

Few hours ago..
Irene was out shopping by herself since her girlfriend was still at work. They've been together for 4 years and Irene wanted to take their relationship forward.
She entered a jewellery store to look for a ring but her heart shattered when she saw Seulgi showing ring to another woman.. The woman, she couldn't see her face but she was hugging Seulgi. She cried and ran out of the store.

The next day Seulgi tried to speak with Irene but the girl ignored her.
"I'll drop you for work-"
"No need, Jennie is picking me up" Seulgi was about to cry.
"Oh okay... Take car-" The door slammed shut, and she was gone.
What did I do wrong?
Seulgi went to work and thought about her girlfriend the whole day, she couldn't understand why this was happening.
She was stressing out, thinking about what she had done so wrong..
The next three days went by similarly. Seulgi asking Irene what she did wrong, Irene spending more time with Jennie.
"What is going on with you and Jennie?" This mad Irene furious.
"You! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO QUESTION ME! DID YOU FIGURE OUT WHY I'M MAD AT YOU?"
Seulgi flinched a little at how Irene raised her voice.
"I don't know Hyun.. But I'm sorry for whatever reason it is.."
"You know what?! I'm staying over at Jennie's tonight. I can't stand at your lying ass right now"
Irene grabbed few things but Seulgi stopped her.
"I'll leave" she had her head hung low. "This is your house, you stay... I'll - I'll just leave and come back only when I figure out what I've done wrong.."
Seulgi grabbed a jacket and her phone, she didn't take the keys since the car was owned by Irene.
"Last time.. Can you please tell me what I did wrong? I really can't think..."
"I don't care how long you need to stay out of this house! Come back when you're ready to tell me the truth".

Seulgi walked alone, it was getting dark... The streets were busy. She was crying with her head low..
Maybe she doesn't love me anymore.. Maybe she like Jennie now?
I mean, you're not rich Seulgi... You're not too attractive either... She finally sees how much of a loser you are...
Seulgi reached near a hotel and booked a room, to stay the night.

Four days later,
"Irene! Oh my god look! I'm engaged!" Jennie, Irene's friend screamed showing off her ring. Irene hugged her and screamed with excitement.
She saw Jisoo was standing behind and she went to congratulate her as well.
"Oh my god, nice to finally see you in person. I'm so happy for you two!"
Jennie held Jisoo's hand and smiled. "Jisoo told me your girlfriend helped her..." Irene's eyes widened.
"How do you know Seulgi?"
"We are very close friends, maybe you know Sooya? That's what she calls me.."
"Sooya.. I know now.." Irene went cold.. No... Don't tell me..
"She helped you? Did you two go out to pick rings?" Jisoo nodded.
"Yeah.. I was so nervous and she was an amazing friend..."
"Your girlfriend is amazing Bae.. I need to see her..." Jennie said.
"I need to see her too..." Jisoo and Jennie looked confused as Irene turned around and ran without saying anything.

Seulgi was sitting on a wooden bench in the park. She couldn't afford to pay big money for two more nights in the hotel, she spent two nights there and rest sleeping in the park. She had a lot to drink, she was hurting.. Broken... She tried so hard to think of what she had done wrong.
She told work she was unwell, she didn't go there. So when Irene went to look for her there, she was not found.
Irene was worried, she tried to call her but she didn't know the girls phone was dead.

Later that night Seulgi stood outside their house, in one corner... She knew she couldn't go in... She still didn't know the answer.
She was about to turn away when someone hugged her from behind.
"OH MY GOD BABY WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU" It was Irene.
Seulgi just stared at her...
Irene took her inside the apartment but before Irene would the door, Seulgi stopped her.
"I'm not supposed to be here... I still don't know the answer, Hyun..." Seulgi sounded so defeated.
"No no... I'm sorry Seul... Its all my fault... I misunderstood you.. I-"
"What? I'm confused..."
"I saw you with a girl picking engagement ring... I thought... I-"
"You doubted me?" Seulgi cried.
"I'm sorry. I love you and I got sad... I thought you don't love me anymore -"
Seulgi turned around and walked out but Irene held her hand.
"It was Jisoo.. She has a girlfriend named Jennifer..."
Irene smiled softly. "Yeah... Thats my friend Jennie... Your friend and my friend are engaged..."
"Jennie is Jennifer?"
"Yeah... And sooya is Jisoo..."
Irene nodded. "I'm sorry I doubted you Seulgi... Let me fix this?
Seulgi entered the house and closed the door behind her.
