Mert's POV

I was sitting in Latin. I hate that class. The only thing that makes it worthwhile is the fact that my best friend Danny was in there. Well, at least he sees it that way.

I started to like him back in 6th grade. That was when I realized I was gay. I always thought there was something different about me, and that just so happened to be the thing. I was gay

I haven't told him yet. I am planning on telling him this weekend when he comes over. I don't think I will ever tell him I have feelings for him though.

"Mert?! Did you see how hot Camden looked today!", I heard Danny say as he was stepping towards me

I didn't like it when he talked about the girls he liked. It made me feel really upset. Even though I knew I had no chance with him, it still made me upset,

"Yeah man! Dang she looks good in those jeans!"

I had to I had to act straight around him, or at least until I told him I was gay.
