Hey hey hey!
I'm excited to share this one with you guys! This is one of the first stories I read in the internet pre-Wattpad days. I was so happy when I was finally able to track it down. It shares this distinction with the other stories I already shared such as: The Necklace and Fleeting.
I loved this because I share a lot of similarities with the character that Beam represents. Just like Beam's older brother figure in the form of Forth in this story, I have a huge age gap with my real older brother. About 13 years. So same with Beam, I idolized my big brother and tried to emulate eveything he does. But as I got to understand my sexuality, I do admit that I probably had a brother complex then. I mean, my brother is handsome and intelligent. The same characteristics that I look for a lover even now. But I already grew out of it. Hehe!
I think I would need to write an original epilogue chapter just to tie the loose ends. But nonetheless, hopefully I can still provide the spirit of the original narrative with my take on the story.
