Everyone says Winter is a beautiful thing;
the lovely, calm snowfalls in mid January.
the sweet, harmonious way the birds sing.
But what if I told you, Winter may be beautiful, but that's said because beauty is all we see.
Winter and Death, two scary, but beautiful things;
both guilty of something, like Jesse and James or Adam and Eve.
They steal the lives of innocent, helpless scenes..
The Winter destroys more than just your skin;
It tears away the lives of even the strongest, most resilient of beings.
Winter and Death go hand in hand,
Death being the oldest and wisest of these.
It started in the beginning, and won't stop 'til the end.
Oh wait, death is the end.
She steals the lives and souls of people, things, animals, and dreams,
Stretching far and wide, throughout the land.
Death, she comes unannounced, and uninvited;
bringing forth tears, heartbreak and distruction.
She takes our breath from new to bitter;
making the strong, weak and wither.
I guess you could say not both of these are bad,
but sometimes you need to look at the times you've all had,
From smiles to tears, life to death;
Winter and Death, both from a dream, sometimes you wake up,
caught amoungst a scream..
