Star awoke once again to her mirror ringing, except this time, it was Thursday, and Eclipsa was calling.

"Morning, dear! Hope I didn't wake you." Eclipsa said, noticing the tired and still-in-pajamas Star in front of her.

"Morning, 'Clips," Star chirped, "I've been up for a while, don't worry about it!"

"Sweetheart, we both know that is a lie." The Queen of Darkness replied, smiling.

"Alright, you caught me!" Star laughed. "What's up?"

"Oh, I just wanted to if you and Marco wanted to come over today, perhaps spend the night? You know, to catch up?" Eclipsa responded.

"Oh, that sounds awesome! I would love to hang out in Mewni for a bit before we tell Mom about our engagement!" Star squealed, not realizing what she was saying.

"You two are ENGAGED?! Why, congratulations!" Eclipsa said excitedly. "Oh, now you two MUST come over! We can help you get ready! My dear, do you have a dress yet? What about rings?"

"Uh, no. Neither, actually." Star said, slightly taken by surprise by Eclipsa's enthusiasm.

"Then we'll go shopping! I'll take you, and Globgor will take Marco. We have some rings for you two. Sounds good?" Eclipsa asked.

"Whoa! Sounds perfect!" Star said, giddy.

"Okay! See you two at shall we say, 2:30? Are you spending the night?" Asked Eclipsa.

"Aye aye, captain!" Star giggled as she saluted.

"Alrighty! Bye, Star!" Eclipsa smiled.

"Bye bye, 'Clips!" Star waved and hung up.

Marco knocked on the door. "Star? You good? I heard a LOT of squeals."

"Oh! Ya! Come on in!" Star chirped.

"Who where you talking to?" He asked.

"Oh, Eclipsa! We're heading over at 2:30, and we're staying the night. She wants to take me shopping for a dress, and Globgor's gonna take you out for a suit!" Star exclaimed, deciding to keep the rings a surprise.

"Whoaaaa okay that's a bit to take in," Marco paused for a second, absorbing the information. "Okay, I think I got it all. So, wait, dress shopping already? We JUST got engaged, Star."

"Yeah, in Mewni, the queens usually get married within two months of engagement. Mewmans are REALLY impatient!"

"TWO MONTHS?" Marco shouted.

"What's wrong with that? Do you not wanna get married soon?" Star asked, slightly hurt.

"What? No! Star, if I could, I would marry you today! But two months is such little time to PLAN!" He replied.

"Pssssh. Marco, that's what serfs are for! All we have to do is tell them what we want, and they take care of it!" Star beamed.

"Huh. I always thought our wedding would be more, you know, hands on." Marco said.

"You just wanna put up the decorations." Star grinned.

"Yeah, I just wanna put up the decorations." Marco smiled.

"I'll make sure that you do," Star said, kissing him on the cheek. "Now, we better start packing. Eclipsa is expecting us soon!"

Marco smiled and shot Star a thumbs up before leaving the room.

"Ah, what to pack, what to pack?" Star wondered, looking in her large wardrobe. She decided to pack about five outfits; One nightgown, two spare outfits, one for the next day, and one for a date. (Ya, know, just in case). She also packed a toothbrush and toothpaste, socks, all the boring stuff. She knew Eclipsa had and extra bedroom stocked with blankets and pillows, so she didn't bother with any of that stuff. And with that, she got dressed! She wore a short, purple, balloon hem dress with some lilac, glittery leggings. For shoes she wore black ankle boots. To top it all off, she curled her hair into soft waves and put it a half ponytail.

"Ya ready, Marco?" She asked, knocking on his door.

"Almost... And done!" The 20 year old replied. He opened the door and walked down the stairs, suitcase in one hand, and Star's hand in the other.

"Hola, kids!" Rafael smiled.

"What's with the suitcases?" Asked Angie.

"Oh, we're just going to spend the night at Eclipsa's house." Star answered.

"Well, have fun you two! Love ya!" Angie said cheerfully.

"Love you guys, too!" The couple said in unison. They looked at each other and giggled. Marco took out his scissors and cut a portal open. Waving to his parents, him and Star stepped through. Waiting for them on the other side was a small, dark oak cabin surrounded by towering trees.

Star knocked on the door. When it opened, a woman with dark teal hair and spades on her cheeks greeted them with a smile.

"Star, Marco! How lovely to see you two! Come in, come in! Make yourselves at home!" Eclipsa enthused.

"Thanks!" Star smiled. She gave her a quick hug and they set their bags down in the guest room down the hall.

"Oh, I almost forgot! I have your r-"

Star gave her a look. She got the hint.

"-rrred hoodie! You almost dropped it Marco!" She said, picking up a stray hoodie she "accidentally" threw out of the suitcase and on to the ground.

"Thaaaanks, Eclipsa." He said, suspicious.

"So! Where is Globgor?" Star asked, changing the subject.

"He's in the garden with Meteora. Just planting some roses. Once they're done we'll go shopping! It'll be about a half hour, so I'll let you two settle in that long. Holler if you need anything, dears!" She said, closing the door as she left.

"We will, thanks!" Marco replied. He sat in the middle of  the bed, back to the head board, legs crossed. Star sat in front of him and smiled softly.

She took Marco's hand. He squeezed gently in response. They looked at each other lovingly. Star leaned forward and put her arms around his neck. Marco put his around her waist and pulled her in for a kiss, causing her to fall on top of him. They held each other tight before parting. Star looked in Marco's brown eyes and sighed as she put her ear to his heart. She had a good feeling about the days to come. She was thrilled to go shopping, too. Marco gazed down at her and put his head on hers, both of them absolutely oblivious to the rest of the world.
