I just want to understand something, what makes it okay for a boy to ignore a girl and pretend she doesn’t even exist when he’s supposedly her friend. What makes it okay for him to confess his feelings and then treat her like crap on the side of the road? Not even acknowledge her existence in public. Girls have feelings too. You can’t just treat us like dirt that is scraped from the bottom of your shoe. What makes it okay to treat her like you’re a complete ASSHOLE. Three words: IT’S NOT OKAY! Nothing you can do can make up for all the nights where she sits thinking maybe she’s not good enough. That she was stupid enough anyone could ever like her. That maybe you’re too embarrassed to be seen with her because she’s not “cool” enough. That she’s not as pretty or as skinny as the rest of the girls. All those times she sits and thinks maybe this is what is suppose to happen. Maybe I’m supposed to end up alone because who will ever love me? It was once said that we accept the love we think we deserve. Maybe she thinks that she doesn’t deserve love because she will never be good enough, she sits thinking in bed “why can’t this end?” She feels like maybe she shouldn’t even be here. At least it would end and it would save her the heartbreak. She thinks it would be better if she didn’t even exist. As time passes and you still don’t care she’ll actually start to believe that maybe she wasn’t meant to be here after all.
