Kabanata 21

Everything's back to normal, that it makes me uneasy somehow. 

After that encounter with Laurence, naging tahimik ang lahat. My friends and I continue doing our tasks, while Almario and his team become too focus on practicing for the Regional Athletic Meet.

Pero hindi naman naging dahilan 'yun para hindi kami mag kita. We study together everynight. Minsan sa Huli's, minsan dito sa Whitehouse. And if time really permits, we'll go outside to eat and study.

He's really a great help. He teaches me things about our course where I find difficult. Surprisingly, mas madali ko pang naiintindihan 'yung paraan niya sa pag tuturo kesa sa mga professors namin.

"Saan tayo ngayon?" Rod asked habang inaayos ko ang gamit ko. 

Katatapos lang ng isang minor subject namin. And we two hours vacant.

"Edi sa field! Ayoko tumambay sa library, please lang!" 

We agreed to Jam. Since wala namang irurush na requirements, hindi namin kelangan tumambay sa library.

"Pero teka, hindi pa nag start training ng Stallion. Anong gagawin natin 'dun?" 

Mary's right. I don't know kung nasan sina Almario ngayon. But what I know is wala siyang class by this time. 

"Almario's probably there, wala siyang class by this hour." I said.

Napahiyaw si Mary when Jam pulled her hair.

"Ang sabihin mo, alam mong wala si Mark doon kaya nag iinarte 'yang bangs mo."

"So porket nandon si-"

"Bilisan niyo! Apaka bagal!" Jam cut Mary's words.

I know, I know. She's referring to Mike, lol. Hindi namin siya pinakealaaman after our San Juan vacation. 

We didn't even asked her anything. But things between him and Mike changed after that. They became more...close. 

Buhay nila 'yan, matatanda na sila.

Pagkarating namin sa field, nadatnan namin sina Almario, Mike, at Ethan sa field.

The three of them are practicing already. Siguro on class pa 'yung iba. 

I waved my hand to him when his eyes noticed me. From those frown, his expression become lighter.

He passed the ball to Mike before saying something tsaka tumakbo papunta sa akin. 

Bago siya makalapit, I quickly look for a towel on my bag. Ever since we become a couple, I constantly put towel on my bag. Mind you, towel. Hindi lang basta handkerchief.
