A/N:  This was inspired by an artist's drawing on Twitter, its a little erotic as well since it concerns the bodies of animals, please enjoy!

A forest filled with mystical beasts was rumored to be dangerous to all humans, the forbidden forest that was filled with different beasts of different forms. One creature, called a Naga, was a humanoid with a snake body and they gave live births near the water where the babe would slither under the water for a time before the mother would flee for her own life.

Humans tried hunting for prize trophies, body parts of the beasts, the young Naga stayed hidden but was orphaned since that day and would stay within the small pond. A few days later, another beast was passing by, a herd of them actually known as Centaurs but these were slightly different. They had the body of deer instead of being a horse, one of them was pregnant and she laid near the pond to give birth, it wasn't easy either but peeking out of the water to see a little fawn flopping into the grass. The baby Naga watched as the deertaur would struggle to stand and frolic about, his coat was red and he seemed happy to be with his mother.

The young Naga thought they would move on but instead, they stayed for a few days, taking a risk to show themselves, getting onto land as the Deertaur was napping in the grass. His ears perked and waking up to see the small serpent boy, the Deer stood wobbly to look over the serpent,

"Hello... who are you?" The Naga's snake tongue came out, his eyes and demeanor weren't dangerous but curious, the Deer stomped his front leg in the dirt while kicking his back legs excited for a new friend.

"I'm Alastor... if you don't have a name, maybe I can give you one?" Unfortunately, he didn't know what Naga's were named, the two would stare at each other for a bit, playing with the water and giggling with each other before the Deer's mother came to get him. She saw the serpent and went to chase it off, Alastor tried to stop his mother but was scolded to be careful, later that night he had asked about the Naga people to learn of a name to give his friend.

Learning about a few Naga legends from his mother and kin, stories passed down from the very first of their kind, Alastor would make his way to the pond where the Naga boy swam and got excited to see the Deertaur.

"I think I came up with a good name for you, how about, Lucifer. He was someone very important back in old times," the naga tilted his head, rising out of the water to point to himself as he was the same height as the Deer now.

"Lu... cif...er? Lucifer..."

"Yes, that's it, you talked... heh..." the Naga then pointed to the Deer,

"Alas...tor... Alastor..." the deer danced about on the ground happily as the two were able to speak to one another, it took time but soon Lucifer was talking with Alastor as if it was normal. But the fun didn't always last...

The Deertaur herd had to move on once all the fawns were able, they moved through the forest leaving the pond and the lonely Naga boy as he watched Alastor leaving. The two would wave goodbye, Lucifer lowering himself into the water as he felt overwhelmed with a sadness that he would carry for years to come.

Over time, the land changed, the forest grew vast and wild as did the structure and what was once a small pond was now a great lake with many rivers and waterfalls. The plants were vibrant and full of life, legend of a white serpent was told who purified the water and gave peace to the land, it was also said that he was ruthless to anyone who trespassed on his land. Mortals were not allowed within his forest, other beasts were challenged for the territory and the White Naga had to protect what belonged to him.
