"Due to the fact that Miss Mariam Benson is just sixteen years,and therefore underaged, she cannot be sent straight off to jail. And after proper research that had been conducted and submitted by the attorney, I realize that she possess good and moral characters right from childhood if not for the sad and unfortunate events that battered her to this current state." The judge uttered pitifully.
"She is, therefore to be taken to a juvenile facility for the underaged with thorough physical and psychological therapy for three years so that she can battle and subsequently overcome her trauma and get back in shape.
Mimi would be under close supervision in the facility to monitor how she changes and if she still exhibits dangerous and harmful traits by then,she will have to undergo another judgement and may be sent to jail." Mimi heaved a sigh of relief while sitting beside her lawyer.
"Otherwise if she shows positive changes after the three years,she would be discharged and can live as a free young woman.
Also,to you Folawe Henshaw. The judge said referring to Mimi's mother sitting in the audience.
"I'm not supposed to be doing this,but if you cannot properly take care care of your children with care and attention they deserve,they would be taken in by the children service,I will personally see to that." The judge uttered sternly and firmly.
"That is my judgement,which brings an end to this trial." The judge slammed her hammer twice and rose from the chair.
Mimi's mother screamed in excitement and fell on the floor in relief. Toke also shouted and jumped in excitement. Tears welled in Mimi's eyes as she broke into quiet sobs before the officers came and led her to the van heading to the juvenile facility.
