My name is Sara I'm 14 years old and in 8th grade. Let me tell you how I became a hero and how I saved people, helped people! But mostly saved the world....
Today was the day.. First day in 8th grade. I used to go to houseworth middle school. But now I go to goodwill school and I didn't know what to expect. In my other school people see me as a freak, a wannabe who wants to fit in. I am afraid nothing is gonna change. I go on the bus and as I look around kids my age talking to each other, laughing, having a good time. I just find an empty seat and look out the window seeing all the old buildings. A girl with blond hair and blue eyes sat next to me. "Hi!! My name is Kate. What's your name?" "Um... Hi my name is Sara" i said softly " are u new?" Kate said "yes I am" I said then Kate looks back and seems like she is happy to see her friends and sits with them and leaves me alone. "Ha! Ha! Look boys it the new girl, she is such a faggot! what's your name faggot!" I didn't' respond. "Awww... The little faggot cant talk!" He starts to poke me with a pencil. "Can you please stop that" I said in a soft tone voice. "Finally! She talks! Alright I'll stop, but... Once the meater targets someone he never let's them go" the meater? What kind of a nick name is that? I was sad that it was my first day of school and people are already picking on me... I wonder what "the meater" name is? No matter. Now I have to focus on getting to school. As the bus stops, I try to get out but "the meater" keeps pushing me saying "get out of the way!" I was now the last one to get off the bus and I saw a red building with signs all around it for joining clubs. I had no idea where the principals office was so it took me 1 hour to find it. "hi my name is Sara I'm new here" I said "ok you can go see the principle now" I nodded and walked into her office "Sara! Nice to meet you! My name is ms. Martinez or principle Martinez if you want to say it that way" I just look at her saying nothing. "I understand moving to a new school is hard, but trust me you'll learn to love it and by the way your classroom is in 56A" ms. Martinez says "thank you" I said politely and walked out her office and found my classroom. I was scared to open the door, all the kids looking at me, maybe even laugh. What would I say? Will everyone except me for who I am? Or will everyone say I'm a loser because I'm new....
