As soon as Red Hood received word that Hero Academy Students are coming to Atlas, he didn't waste anytime to prepare a team to defeat and capture them.
Right now, he's over looking the briefing. Using his knowledge of everyone's strengths, skills and weaknesses he learned during his time in Hero Academy, he can use that knowledge against Hero Academy.
As his forces are being taught on how to defeat the listed students, Red Hood's focus was on what to do with the students once they've been captured. Kill them? Satisfying, but short lived. Blackmail? Hardly worth anything.
'Eh, I'll just slap the cuffs on them and throw them into separate cells.' He thought as he believes the students to be not much of a threat, especially in Atlas.
He pulls out the radar from the long range radar towers to see that the Hero Academy Student's are around 2 1/2 miles away from Atlas. Red Hood then activates a broadcast to all of his forces.
"Attention all units of Atlas, the Hero Academy Students are approximately 2 1/2 miles near Atlas. Rendezvous at the landing pad and prepare to apprehend them. I don't care what or how, but I want them alive, yet show no mercy or hesitation towards them." He announces.
Red Hood pulls up a surveillance camera from the landing pad area to see his forces already assembling as his new drones are joining in as well. 'Thank god for Atlas tech for helping us create these drones. Ironwood had the right idea, but he was just afraid to use live rounds.' Red Hood thought.
(SCENE CHANGE: HERO ACADEMY'S TRANSPORT)
Meanwhile, the transport carrying the Hero Academy Students is getting closer and closer to Atlas, not knowing of Red Hood's takeover and taking control of Atlas nor of the ambush waiting ahead.
The students aboard the transport are Team RWBY, Team JNPR, Rias' Peerage, Sona's Peerage, Class 1A and Night Raid (with the exception of Najenda). Many of them were excited to see Atlas, but Weiss is excited to see her family again.
Yet, they couldn't shake the feeling of dread from their minds. Soon, the driver sees Atlas, but notices the major changes of Atlas. Feeling concern for the changes, the driver decides to inform the students about this.
"Uh, students, this maybe my imagination, but it would appear that Atlas has underwent some changes." The driver announces with a worried voice.
The students rushed to the windows of the transport to see the changes for themselves. "Wow! Atlas looks like a fortress now!" Yang exclaims with impression in her voice. "Huh, wonder what happened for the Council to approve of these changes?" Weiss asks.
"What're those tiny Bullheads doing?" Jaune asks as everyone looks to see the Drones flying underneath Atlas. "Probably suffering from a glitch." Pyrrha answers.
"But what's the problem if it means transforming Atlas into literal Fort Knox?" Sona questions. "Who knows? We'll just ask around and see why." Saji says without care or worry.
"Should we do? Something feels wrong about Atlas, something that tells me we need to turn around and don't look back." Leone says with worry in her voice. "Don't worry Leone, we're Hero Academy students, we can handle anything!" Tatsumi arrogantly exclaims as several students agree with him.
"THAT'S RIGHT! NO SHITTY EXTRAS ARE GONNA STOP US!" Bakugo boasts with arrogance.
The transport landed on the pad as the door opens up. The students exit the transport, but are quickly surrounded by Red Hood's soldiers and drones. "WHAT THE?!?!?" The students exclaim in confusion.
"Freeze! Don't move or we'll shoot!" One of the commanders ordered. Unknowingly to the students, some of Red Hood's soldiers are positioned on top of a building. What separates them from most of the troops below, is their attire.
While most of Red Hood's forces are red with his insignia on their chests, these troops are all black with a few white accents. They also have goggles with red lens in them. These troops are known as Jaegers, soldiers trained in the arts of sabotage and fucking over the enemy.
The Jaegers pulled out Disruptors as they aimed them at the Hero Academy students.

The Jaegers pointed the Disruptors at the several items the Hero Academy students have on them, such as Yang's Ember Celica's, Bakugo's grenade bracers, etc.
The lead Jaeger placed his pointing and middle fingers over a ear place as he contacted the soldiers down below. "Jaegers to Soldiers, equipment has just been sabotaged. Take them down." He says.
Once the order was given, the soldiers quickly swarmed the students. Thanks to the special generators and the Jaegers sabotaging the students equipment, the students were captured extremely easily.
"Hey boss, we got the students." The soldier commander says. "Great job. Now bring them to me. Make sure to take their equipment and hand them to our manufacturers, I have a few ideas we can create, thanks to the students 'assistance' and complacence. And don't forget to slap the cuffs on them." Red Hood orders through the ear piece the soldier commander is wearing.
"Got it. Attention everyone, the boss wants an audience with the students. Take their stuff and give them to the lab coats, our life is about to get easier. And don't forget about the cuffs." The soldier commander orders.
