The void. A dark, empty plane filled with absolutely nothing, its atmosphere crushing and its air making it uninhabitable. It's a place that's unknown to everyone and everything.

All but two ethereal beings of light and energy who live in it, unaffected by the darkness that surrounded them.

The first being, a man with a black beard, a bald head, and a kind & calm gaze, approached the second. The first being's dark eyes settled on the milky white orbs of the other, who looked to be sitting on nothing as he gazed off into the darkness of the void.

The second figure, a man with dark brown, almost black hair, bearing an intimidating yet mysterious aura, smirked.

"Notch. I see you've come in search of my company once again." Notch smirked as well.

"Whatever you say, Herobrine. But I have a little... request, if you will."

"Oh?" asked Herobine. "Do continue."

After a pause, Notch spoke again.

"Do you want to create a new wor—"

"Absolutely not."

"Look, I know what happened in our last world is still affecting you, but we were closer than ever! It wouldn't make sense to give up now, not after everything we and everyone else we created has been through. So please! Just give this another chance!"

"Notch, I know I'm notorious for destruction, but dammit, even I have a limit!" yelled the man, standing up from his invisible seat. "I'm cannot let our creations, our people, go through that pain again! I will not have them face All for One and be destroyed yet another time!"

"Yes, but this time, there's one key difference," said Notch. Herobrine glared at him.

"And what might that be?"

"We give Izuku Midoriya the power of Minecraft." Herobrine's iris-less eyes went wide.

"Notch, we are Minecraft. To give the boy control of our power, do you know what that entails?"

"We will begin to fade, I'm aware," said Notch, "But I , we, cannot let All for One win this war. Humanity will prosper as long as our power is in Izuku's hands."

Herobrine grit his teeth and clenched his hand hard enough to draw blood if he had any. Finally, he punched the void and let out a shout.

"FUCK!" growled Herobrine, "Why did you have to drag me into this fucking moral dilemma?!"

"Because I know you will make the right decision," replied Notch with every bit of seriousness he had.

After some time, Herobrine reached his verdict.

"Fine! Let's get on with this bullshit."

Notch smiled.

"I knew you'd make the right call," he said as a screen appeared in front of him. He set a bar that said 'survival' to 'hardcore' as he and Herobrine always did.

However, this time, Notch made a crucial and key change. He entered the game code, and typed in a completely new line of code into the game.

"Hmm...," mulled the bearded man, "maybe...,"

Nodding his head, he typed in a last minute addition to the code before saving the file.

Herobrine, seeing what Notch was doing, raised an eyebrow.

"Fifteen years old? You're not giving it to him immediately?" questioned Herobrine.

Notch nodded.

"It will give his body time to prepare for our combined power," said Notch as he laid his hand onto the 'create new world' button. "Now, you ready?"

"As I'll ever be," said Herobrine, as he too laid his hand onto the button.

Then, in a brilliant flash of light, the two of them pressed the button, and simultaneously said,

"Create New World."

Author's Note

Hi everyone! HeadSlamMan here, and this is the prologue of my very first book! I'm new to this Wattpad game, and I was never the best in English class, so sorry if I mess some things up. I may run the rest of the story through Grammarly, so hopefully that'll help. That said, please don't expect frequent updates. I'm a very slow writer, and the fact that this is an improv story doesn't help. The only reason I'm even able to get to this right now is because I'm on summer break, and there is no chance I will be able to write anymore once the school year starts since I'm starting high school next year. Once that happens, it's likely that this story will be up for adoption. So, yeah, just a fair little warning before we actually get into the beef of the story. Anyway, thanks for reading, peace!
