"Danny!"
The tall, slender, dark haired man turned around, and a beaming smile quickly planted itself on his face. He dropped the pair of scissors he'd been examining in the light from the salon and the towel he was using to clean them, and ran over to me, his arms spread apart.
He hugged me, picking me up a little bit off of the ground and laughed in my ear, a really nice sound. "Karly, darling! Back so soon?" He asked, setting me back on my feet.
I smiled back at him, "Guess so. I have a ton of hair issues."
He laughed again, throwing his head back. When he stopped, his blue eyed gaze focused over my shoulder, at Liam who was awkwardly standing in the doorway. Danny turned back to me, raising an eyebrow. "Karly, you didn't tell me you had a boyfriend. I thought that that boy you showed me a picture of was but you told me that he wasn't."
The smile slipped from my face as the mention of Cody. "Yeah, that boy wasn't. But Liam here isn't either," I said. "He's just a...friend."
I hadn't really thought of Liam as a friend until now. But I guess that he kind of was.
"Alright then, if you say so," Danny said. "Let's get you to a chair, then? Fix that hair of yours?"
"Yeah," I said, nodding.
"And you, Liam is it? Come with now, hurry up," Danny said, ushering Liam deeper into the salon. Watcing the two of them standing next to each other was quite amusing. Danny was slender, where Liam was a little buff with muslce. Liams hair was a buzz, and Danny's was gelled to perfection. There couldn't be anything more different about the two boys.
Liam sat down in the leather salon chair next to my own as Danny got to work examining my hair. "I like the blonde," he pouted.
I responded, "I do too."
Danny opened his mouth to say something else but Liam beat him, "I don't. I mean, you look good with it Karly, but it doesn't suit you. I want to see you with red hair."
"The natural hair color is beautiful," Danny said, agreeiing with Liam.
"Yeah, that's why we came. I want it back," I said.
"Oh, that's easy...."

An hour later my aubern hair was back, Liam had a cocky smile permenantly painted on his lips, and we were paying Danny. "If you ever have any more hair problems, and I mean ever sweetheart, you just come in, okay?"
"Okay," I agreed, sending him one last smile before leaving.
It was still cold out, and there were at least five inches of snow on the ground, but I figured I could get home. Plus, my poor jeep was just sitting there... "Liam?" I asked, and he looked down at me.
"What?" he asked.
"My jeep's just sitting there...." my voice trialed off. That jeep was my baby.
Liam laughed. "Tell you what, red-head. If you go shopping with me, because I really knew a new leather jacket, and let me take you to lunch, becuase I get hungry a lot, I'll call a guy and get your car delivered to your flat within the half hour."
I crossed my arms. "How do you plan to do that?"
"I'm Liam Payne. I can plan to do whatever I want and get it done. Deal or not?"
I thought about it. Ususually, I would say no. But this was my jeep at sake we were talking about. So....
"Deal."
