Weird feeling

Rantaro's POV
Shuichi and I have been talking for around 5-10 minutes now, I sit there wondering what's taking so long with our drinks. Not that I wasn't listening to what Shuichi was saying. I obviously was, that'd be rude not to, but I still couldn't get my mind off of those drinks, I might die of dehydration. (He's obviously joking) While me and Shuichi were talking and laughing I couldn't help but feel like there were a pair of eyes on me. I turn to see Y/N, she said that was her name. We make eye contact for a slight second, but I never noticed how pretty her e/c orbs were. They truly bring out her natural beauty. Y/N looks away, I smile and turn back to Shuichi who's still going on about his novels.
Huh, he really likes his novels
I laugh to myself about my thought. This catches Shuichis attention.
"W-What? Did I say something funny?" Shuichi questions a bit nervously,
"Oh no! Not at all!" I say. "Sorry I made you feel that way. I didn't mean to." I apologize, feeling really bad for the minor mistake.
"Oh, it's ok. Really, heh no need to freak out." Shuichi says while giving a small giggle. I feel relieved knowing that I didn't hurt his feelings, I wouldn't want to. Suddenly I see Y/N coming towards us with our drinks.
"I'm so so sorry about your long wait guys!" She apologizes,
"You're all good, no need to be sorry." I say trying to reassure her that nothings her fault,
"Yeah, you guys seem very busy today." Shuichi agreed with me.
Y/N smiles at us "Yeah, we are. We're usually never this busy, it's kinda stressful but I think we can handle it." She says with a giggle. "Hey, you know what? I'll pay for your drinks." She says suddenly.
"Oh no, you don't have to-" I say being cut off by Y/N
"Really, you guys were super nice and understanding, it's the least I could do." She says with a smile, "But-" Shuichi tries to say but is also cut off.
"No buts. My decision is final. If you guys need any help and not here just send somebody for me. Ok?" She states. "Ok." Me and Shuichi say in unison. I didn't know Y/N was such a kind girl.

Y/N's POV
I walk away from Rantaro and Shuichi, smiling and feeling a bit happy. I take a look at my watch and the time reads '5:47'
Wow! Really?! It feels like it's been only 20 minutes time went by really fast
I start to take more orders as the time goes by my watch eventually reads '6:25' giving me and Miu enough time to change and leave, I met up with Miu in the employees only room and started to change out of my work uniform and into my normal school uniform. While changing Miu asks me a question,
"Sooo, are you going to tell me what happened or what?" She says.
"Oh yeah, well he said I looked 'lovely' in my work uniform." Say kinda cringing at the sentence, I could tell Miu was also cringing but she found it...cute?
"That's kinda...cute!!" She yells "And sweet! He's such a gentleman." She says happily. I then start laughing at her statements and get finished changing. We walk out of the employees only room, and find Shuichi and Rantaro still sitting there like they were waiting for us.
Oh right! I'm supposed to pay for their drinks
I then run towards them, and tell them that can leave, and that I'll pay.
"Well..we would but we don't want you to pay." Shuichi says, with Rantaro nodding, I look up at the tall boys.
"Well I already told you I'll pay, sorry but that's final." I say while walking up to the cashier and pay for their drinks. I was about to leave when Miu stopped me.
"Huh?" I question while Miu looks at me like she's a genius. She then walks over to the boys and asks if they would like to walk home with us. They both agree. We then all walk out of the cafe and to our houses with me and Rantaro in the middle, Miu and my right, and Shuichi on Rantaros left.
"Miuuu." I say
"Yes, 'lovely' Y/N?" She asks while grinning at me.
"Why did you ask them to walk home with us?" I whisper.
"Y/N! That's really rude of you!" She shouts getting the attention of Rantaro and Shuichi. They both look at us.
"Hehe, sorry.." Miu apologizes. They both smile and continue with their conversation, while me and Miu continue with ours.
"It wasn't meant to sound rude. It's an honest question." I say
"Well, Rantaro's new, and Shuichi's shy. Sooo why not make new friends, it's literally just the two of us." Miu says, with me agreeing.
"Well guys, this is my...uh my stop. I guess I'll see you guys at school tomorrow. Bye." Shuichi says a bit shyly, we all wave to him and smile. Shuichi soon smiles and waves back. We all continue walking and start to go down Mius street.
"Hey Rantaro." I finally speak up.
"Huh? Oh! Yes?" He asks
"You should invite Shuichi and eat lunch with us, and possibly some other friends." I say while looking at him, he looks back at me and we make eye contact. He looks kinda shocked at first but then has an closed eye smile.
"Sure! I like that idea! Great thinking Y/N." He says while ruffling my hair. A blush a bit from his sudden touchy action. Miu notices and starts giggling, I give her a glare, but she laughs it off. We soon reach Mius house and she hugs me and waves Rantaro a goodbye. We then start for my house which is only a few blocks from Mius house. I try to think of something to say to break the silence u til Rantaro speaks up.
"You know, Y/N. You're a really nice girl." He says.
"Oh, thank you. I try to be nice to everyone." I say
"See that's another nice thing of you. You're a genuine sweet girl." He says with a smile, I smile back.
"Hey, don't give me all the credit. You're a really sweet and well mannered guy too!" I reassure him, he smiles even more.
"Well, what can I say? I'm a charming guy with a great, well mannered personality." He says jokingly, we both laugh. We then come across my house, I open my gate and start to walk in, then I stop and turn towards Rantaro.
"See ya tomorrow, Rantaro." I say
"See ya, Y/N. Have a nice night!" He tells me, I start to smile.
"Have a nice night, Rantaro." I say, about to close my gate.
"Wait-!" Rantaro yells after me, I turn to face him.
"Yes?" I ask,
"Could I get your number?" He asks a bit shyly,
"Oh! Of course!" As I said that I cover my mouth with a shocked look hiding behind my hands. I could my face flush because pf the embarrassing outburst, Rantaro just laughs.
"Could I see your phone?" He asks with a smile.
"Yeah." Say trying to get my phone out of my bag, we trade phone numbers, and give each others phones back.
"Bye Y/N! I'll text you later!" Rantaro says while walking away.
"Bye Rantaro." I say while closing my gate and walking towards my door to unlock it. Once I get in I take off my shoes and head straight for the shower, after I showered I brushed my hair and payed down in my bed about to fall asleep from the exhausting day I had when my phone went off. A notification.

I couldn't help but feel a bit odd. I don't know how to describe it, but I got butterflies when he asked for my number, and when he first texted me. What is this weird feeling?
