RING! RING! RING!

I lazily open my eyes and grab my phone. I will kill whoever decided to ruin my wonderful sleep.

"Whoever you are be prepared to die because you have just ruined my sleep." I answer whoever was calling.

"Morning to you too sweetie and the only person who will die is you unless you get up now because you'll be late for school."

"I hate you Park Sunghoon." I say still closing my eyes.

"I love you too Kim Yubin." My wonderful best friend says through the phone.

I end the call.

I get up from bed. Another day of the same old.

I go in my bathroom to brush my teeth and take a quick shower. After I get dressed and grab my bag with my books.

I quietly walk through the hallway of my house making sure not to wake up my dad. If he wakes up I'm really dead.

I go down the stairs and find my dad dead asleep on the couch with alcohol bottles around him.

I get a plastic bag and put them in the bag.

My names Kim Yubin. I'm 19 years old and go to college. I'm majoring in Psychology.

My mom died when I was 15 so since then it's just been me and my dad. It hasn't been the best experience. Because of my mom gone he drinks everyday and not caring when to stop.

I check the time. I'm going to be late. I get my shoes and head out the door.

I leave my house and find a figure standing there.

"Took you long enough." Sunghoon rolls his eyes.

"No one asked you to wait for my ass anyways." I argue back.

Sunghoon puts his arm around me as we walk to the bus stop.

This is my best friend Park Sunghoon. Me and him have been best friends since we were in diapers. Our moms were very close so that's why we basically grew up together since he lives next to me. There's pros and cons being friends with this idiot I guess.

"Are you busy later?" He ask.

"I have to prepare for a quiz for this Wednesday. So I'll be pulling an all nighter at the library." I smile.

"Why can't you just study at home? You always study at the library late." Sunghoon ask.

Why would I stay home with my abusive father?

Sunghoon doesn't know about my dad being an alcoholic and him hurting me. If I told Sunghoon then many problems will develop. And I don't want that.

"I just prefer the library. How about you? Any plans tonight?" I ask changing the subject.

"Well Jay said there's a party happening but I'm not sure. If I end practice early then maybe." Sunghoon replies.

"Guys getting laid tonight." I tease.

"Whatever." Sunghoon scoffs.

Me and Sunghoon arrive at school.

We start walking to the school gates.

"Hyung help!"

We hear.

Jungwon hides behind Sunghoon.

"YANG JUNGWON GET YOUR ASS HERE RIGHT NOW!" An angry Jay yells.

Jay tries chasing Jungwon but Jungwon hides behind Sunghoon.
