The evening it hot as it could be. The figure crouched on the roof has it worse as he was supposed to wait lying flat on his stomach on top of the cramped roof of a cafe, in the middle of this scorching heat, waiting for his target to come out of his house. The target finder on his long barreled sniper was digging into his eye. 'It's gonna keep a bruise for sure.' The last time it left a bruise the man received his infamous nickname, 'Monocle Murderer.'

Then the man he has been waiting for for over nine hours came out of his den. Had he been hybernating he would've come out sooner. The Monocle Murderer adjusted his sniper gun and aimed at the man's head.

The man that came out of the whitewashed house was very thin, unlike many other businessmen. He had greying hair with a bald patch on the top. His eyes were shielded from the sunlight with a pair of tanned glasses and he had his hands on a walking stick that matched his Ivory-white suit and black tie. Looking at the old man made the monocle murderer feel like he was in a black and white movie from the 19's. The guards flanking his sides wore black too.

The man on the roof was ready to pull the trigger when a final figure exited the door of the house. His eyes widened from shock.

The figure was of a male, a young male that seemed to be in his early twenties. He had a slight tan and alarmingly gold blonde hair that changed shades from gold to silver to white in the sunlight. The boy wore an unusual uniform. It looked like something from a science fiction movie; a bold white shirt and a grey long coat with a pair of black leather pants that fitted him perfectly. The clothes were also weird as they were holding shimmering symbols. The monocle murderer didn't understand what the symbols were. He just thought they were some designer touches for a wealthy narcissists outfit. On top of the shirt the shirt the young man wore a price of fashion that resembled a weapons belt. The assassin on top of the cafe knew all about them, so he was surprised that it looked as if it was REAL. He didn't know why the boy carried around knives and a sword and several vials of multicoloured liquids.

The shocking thing about the boy was not the outfit. It was not even the weapons that looked so real. It was the glow coming from him.

When the boy stepped out of the door, something hit the man on the roof like a wave of nausea. He suddenly wanted to see more. He wanted to look at him more because, well, because he was curious. He was always a curious man. His colleagues told him that curiosity would kill him like it did the cat.

The boy had a glow around him, it wasn't as much a glow but a DARKNESS. It was like an aura, surrounding the boy like a ghost's halo. It shimmered and twitched around the boy. The darkness made him worry. He had never seen something like that in his entire 40 years of life.

'Forget it.' he thought to himself. He must've been hallucinating from the heat. The Texas sun always took a toll on people.

He returned his attention back to his Target and he was ready to pull the trigger when the boy came into his view it the long range lense again. He was blocking the shot. 'Dammit!' the assassin cursed.

All of a sudden, something happened that no one would believe if he told them. The boy, looked straight at the assassin. His eyes locked with his one eye through the sniper's lense. His eyes were an alarming shade of green flecked with gold, it almost glowed.

The monocle murderer recoiled. 'He can't see me from that far away. Impossible.' He was shaking now. 'Who the hell is this boy?!'

The youngling told something to the white suit and broke off heading.....

Towards the assassin.
