Part one

Monday morning.
The football field was smothered in fog, the air felt moist and cold. I was wearing my usual outfit, that most girls would always drool over; my grey sweatpants and tight black t-shirt.
My skin was filled with goosebumps, as the weather was colder than expected today. It was summer, but lately the days had been rainy and windy. I'm not sure why I didn't bring my hoodie with me, I should have been smarter, especially since everyone in my class called me the "smart kid".
The schoolday would start at nine every morning, but because my mother dropped me to school on her way to work, I was always there earlier than I had to. I was fine with it, since that meant that I had time to watch our school's football team practice every Monday and Thursday. I had always been the smart and nerdy kid, but last year I had a mental breakdown and changed my whole appearance. Since then everyone had started to see me as cool, handsome and even scary in a way, but of course, I still couldn't be popular like the school jocks or cheerleaders.

I was on my way to chemistry class, even though we still had recess left. On my way I heard a girl singing "Fight song" in some class. I heard rumors that the girl was breaking up with her boyfriend, so she was probably having her moment right now. I would have wanted to see it, but I didn't have time, since I wanted to be the first one in chemistry class so I could get the best seat. Because I was completely immersed in my thoughts, I accidentally bumped in to the most popular boy at school; the jock called Jack. "Watch where you're going bitch", he growled at me. "I'm not your bitch", I said and rolled my eyes, then walking away before he could say anything else...
