"Zandaria, Wait." Cried Alfador as he ran towards Zandaria. Zandaria looked back at Alfador and smiled.
"Come on Alfie. I'm going to leave you behind if you keep making me slow down." Zandaria joked. Alfador almost instantly found his cheeks wet by involuntary tears. Zandaria stopped and rushed back at him. Alfador put his hands up to his face, trying to hide the tears from Zandaria. Zandaria gently took Alfador's hands into her own.
"I will never leave you behind. You and Zed are the only ones I really care about. I was only joking." Zandaria looked into Alfador's eyes. Alfador held firmly to his sleeve.
"I can only pray that you never leave me behind."

Shadow formed a black sword and shield from the shadows. The leader laughed.
"Just like you to bring a shield in a sword fight." The leader circled Shadow "You never truly believed that you could ever beat me. That's why you use shields when I use swords."
"Loser's are the men who aren't honest with themselves. You taught me that." Shadow also started to circle the room " And I think that I can defeat you but why make it a fair fight when you don't want it to be one."
Shadow slashed towards the leader's midriff. The leader brought his sword in the path of Shadow's blade. The moment the blades touched each other, Shadow's blade vapourized.
"You know that I concentrated my power into one blade. You should have made at least made effort before underestimating me." The leader slashed at the shield vapourizing it too. Shadow backed away with his hands up in the air.
"You pitiful traiter." The leader slowly walked towards him. "My power's far exceed yours."
Shadow smiled and suddenly closed his fist, suddenly the leader's eyes widened and he fell with his sword cluttering out of his reach. Shadow formed another sword from the shadows and kneeled above Leader.
"You know sometimes you should think that the other person had thought it all through before. I mean I can control every piece of the shadows. You know how I make these weapons? I concentrate the shadows and make them. So a very simple question arises, Why don't they disappear when they face the light? You want the answer? It's because I have a little embodiment of my energy in the weapon's that keep them in the very state. Now when you destroyed my sword and my shield, I was just able to save the embodiments in the weapons. So I just ordered the particles that were floating in the air to simply attack you at once. These particles were as small as atoms so they won't kill you, they just paralysed you." Shadow placed a marble like object on the leader's chest "Now what might happen when I take the embodiment from the sword and will the particles from the shadows to once again take the form of a sword." The leader eyes widened and he strained to look sideways at his sword lying out of his reach. He strained his hand and made it move towards the sword. Shadow laughed at the pathetic display of desperation.
"Well say your goodbyes, leader." Shadow laughed as the sword formed, ripping through the leader's abdomen, shredding through each and every blood capillary. Leader's every cell screamed in pain and the leader twitching while blood came out of the hole in his stomach filling the room. Shadow looked at the leader twitching in the unbearable pain and smiled.
'I missed this thrill. The desperation in a man's eyes when he finds out he's going to die. The thrill of it all. The intoxication. The bloodlust. All of it. I LOVE IT.' Shadow laughed again but then suddenly leader's eyes narrowed and he got up. The bleeding had stopped almost instantly. Shadow took a step back. The move that Shadow had executed was a vicious and gruesome one. When a object is formed through one's body all the particles used to form the weapon come rushing at one point as a result it causes holes in capillaries and many organs leading to a tremendous blood loss and organ failure. Surviving an attack like that is impossible for most humans but leader was no ordinary human. He was the leader of a ruthless and bloodthirsty army. The only one chosen to lead the army of the dark lands, even the most influential bowed in front of him.
"I am the leader of the dark forces." Leader got up, clenching his stomach "And I shall not submit to an inferior. Bow to me and all shall be forgiven, come after me then you will face death."
Shadow charged "Then I choose death."
Leader stretched out his hand and his sword flew into his hand. Shadow formed two swords out of pure darkness and attacked. Thrust, parry, block, counter, the two fighters faught to the top of thier skills, each attack stronger than the last. Leader suddenly charged in, Shadow stepped back and leader slipped in that instant Shadow thrusted downward at leader's neck.
'I've won' Shadow thaught. The leader blocked the strick without even looking at the sword and turned. Shadow stepped back baffled, and then the leader thrust his sword straight at Shadow's stomach.
"Fine then. You chose death. You got death." Leader smirked. Shadow panted, the sword had passed straight through him.
"I did choose death." Shadow smiled "But yours. You have also suffered a serious injury. Guess we both are gonna die today."
Leader laughed "You imbecile. Take a look at my would." Leader pulled up his shirt and Shadow was shocked. The yellow lightning was fulfilling the work of the blood capillaries and the organs. Leader's whole midriff shone with the lighting.
"My power sustains me whereas yours kills you little by little. So there's only going to be one death today." Leader stood close to Shadow and brought his sword up. Shadow suddenly charged at leader, leader just pushed him away to a spot in the corner, where no light ever reached. He realised his mistake too late.
"I'm not going to die. Not today, I'm going to live and I'm going to defeat you." Shadow chuckled. Leader threw his sword at Shadow as he teleported away.
