Nikolina

Chapter one: The beginning

~Today~

Nikolina is sitting in the corner of a white empty room in an asylum. She is wearing white clothes, her hair is messy, her face is pale, and dark circles lie underneath her baggy eyes. Most of the time she is blank staring at the walls of that room. That's her look for the last three years she's been there. The potential person who may hide behind her situation is Dunkan Weber, her ex-boyfriend's father. Why you may ask. Well, let's run on her back story.

Nikolina is from a well-known family in Albania the Kaisers. Her father Lorenzo Kaiser, was known for his criminal activity in the illegal weapon industry back in Albania. His father had a factory in Bulgaria, where he spent most of his childhood. There, he met at the age of fifteen the first and epic love of his life, Katerina. They fell in love and eventually, Katerina got pregnant with a baby girl. Katerina's pregnancy was kept hidden from everyone but the families involved. Soon, when it was time for her to give birth, her parents brought a specialist on the house labor. The woman couldn't save both their lives, so Katerina died when the baby arrived. Lorenzo devastated took the baby back to Albania and swore to protect it with everything he had. He named her after Katerina, so he could remember her eternally.

Three years later, he took his father's place on the illegal weapon dealership and became the richest his family ever achieved to be. One year on the lead of the company and he achieved plenty. That was enough for Lorenzo to decide and move to the United States and expand the business. In Florida, he met the second love of his life, Pasiphae. She was born and raised in Greece and she decided to move to Florida to study criminology. Eventually, they got married and had a beautiful daughter, Nikolina. By that time Katerina was five years old. Pasiphae embraced her like her own daughter and even when Nikolina was born she treated Katerina like her own flesh and blood. The two girls were inseparable growing up and Katerina was overprotective of her little sister.

The four of them were very happy, but Pasiphae got very sick. She developed a tumor on the brain and died after three months. By that time Nikolina was ten and Katerina fifteen years old. Lorenzo lost yet another love, and as broken as he could be, he took the girls and moved to Los Angeles. After the death of his second love, he swore to never love again. Instead, he focused on his girls and did everything he could to make them happy.

Katerina growing up, as a teenager and after as an adult, became the hottest girl on the planet. After graduating from high school she decided to join the family business and stay next to her sister and father.

Nikolina on the other hand, growing up, had trouble comparing herself to her brilliant and gorgeous sister. She gained a lot of weight and eventually lost most of it. Until her junior year in high school, it seemed like no guy had been interested in her. But then, all of a sudden Achlys Weber, the hottest guy in the entire school asked her on a date. At first, Nikolina thought he was messing with her, but as it appeared Achlys was in love with her. Soon they started dating and became a couple. Both families had gatherings and they celebrated together every holiday.

During senior year, Duncan, Achlys father, started acting weird. He no longer supported his son's relationship with Nikolina and made everything he could to separate them. After the graduation ceremony, Nikolina found herself locked in an asylum in North Carolina. The first person that came to her mind was Duncan because he had threatened her a couple of days before the ceremony. But why would he want to part his son and the love of his life? What was his ulterior motive? That is exactly what Nikolina wondered for two years in that hell dimension along with her revenge plan. Vengeance was what kept her from losing her mind in the crazy hole.

But, how did she get out of the mad house?
