We got to my house and parked in the usual spot, in the driveway and got out grabbing my bag. I had to unlock the door to the house seeing no one was home yet. Uncle Alex was a restaurant owner in the next town over and Uncle John still worked at the same job, which I can't seem to remember for the life of me. I toss my bag onto the couch and turn on the TV to find it on the news channel. I switched it to the cooking channel then decided against it and turned it off.

"Nothing good on?" Zach asks a bowl of dip in one hand and a bag of chips in the other.

"Yeah, we could just eat that and do homework I guess...did you get any?" I ask him and he looks sadly at me and nods. Ha! "Finally I don't have homework on the first day!" I squeal and Zach glares at me. "Sourpuss." I say and he laughs with me.

"Well then you can help me because it's Trigonometry." Zach says knowing I had taken it last year and I wouldn't have to be taking a math unless I wanted to do AP in which I did not. In turn I groan. So after a few hours later Zach had finished his homework all fricken three pages of math. When Uncle John walked through the door.

"Hey Dani, Zach."

"Hey Uncle J." Zach and I say at the same time and laugh it off. I hear Uncle J mutter something but decide not to worry about it. I look at my watch to see it was now six o'clock. Zach was packing up his things. I was about to grab my keys.

"You don't have to drop me of Dani; I'll just catch the bus." The bus stop was right at the corner, but then he'd have to jump on that bus and get off to take another just to get to his house. It's like a forty five minute bus ride. I look at him with concern; usually I would drop him off.

"You sure?" I ask.

"I'm sure." Zach says. Uncle J was in the kitchen looking through the cabinets.

"Alright but I swear if this is just you trying to be stubborn about a girl dropping you off, I will hurt you." His brothers had always teased him about me always dropping him off afterschool. It annoyed the both of us. He chuckles and heads out the door.

"Dani! Did you see the Tostitos chips and the dip?!" Uncle John yelled from the kitchen. I look at the half empty bag. Whoops.

"We were eating it!" I yell back bringing the empty bowl and half full bag of chips to him. He sighs and washes the bowl before putting more dip inside. "We didn't double dip." I say and he looks at me and shrugs. I sigh and grab my things and go into my room. In two hours Uncle Alex will be home and cooking dinner. Or maybe he brought back food like last time. I let my eyes close for a second.

"Daniella Armitage!" I heard someone yell from behind me and I look back slowly, hearing my heart pick up at someone using my real name. To see someone very unfamiliar running toward me at an alarming fast speed. Their blue eyes staring wildly at me, I took a step back and heard a loud horn blaring at me, I turn my head to see a truck driving toward me, it's headlights trapping me like a deer. I closed my eyes tightly and felt my arm grabbed tightly and I fell forward into someone warm. I look up to see those eyes staring down at me, the blue ones I had seen earlier.

I sat up startled, gasping for air. It was just a dream. I look over at my alarm clock to see it shining its bright blue numbers of 7:48 across of it. I got out of bed and looked at my naturally wavy hair. I put it up in a loose bun. I grab my phone out of my bag, surprised I hadn't used it all day. I had a text from Aunt Jenny. She wasn't my actual Aunt just a really close family friend. She knew mom real well and told me stories about her when I was little. I opened it up to see it saying that she'll be over for dinner tonight. I smile. I decided I didn't need to reply back so I tossed my phone on the bed, to hear it ring suddenly. I jumped and snatched it up. I answered.
