Mafia's Daughter *ON HOLD*

Chapter One- "Deal."

Rosa's POV

I lay on my new bed taking a look at my new room. I had just finished unpacking. As far as I knew, I was alone at this house, except the maids and bodyguards of course.

Mom and Nick (he insisted on me calling him Nick) had already left for their honeymoon to Bora Bora. The boys were either at work or had gone to school or college. I knew all their names, and their descriptions, courtesy of being a figure in the underworld.

A knock on the door startled me.

"Come in!" I shout, sitting up.

A petite woman in her 20's comes in. She has red hair that flows like fire, and looks very cheerful.

"Hi! I'm Violet, but you can call me Vi. I'm a fashion designer. I'm Demitri's wife." She says, literally bouncing up and down.

I like her.

"Hi Vi! I'm Rosa. I didn't know Demitri was married?"I ask unsure. There were rumours around the underworld about Demitri being engaged. But I thought that's what they were- rumours.

"Yes. I'm kind of their secret. Me and Ares." She says, sitting on my bed.

"Ares?" I ask,"Who is he?"

She laughs a musical laugh.

"Ares is our five year old son. He's at school now. I was going to pick him up."

"Can I come?" I ask, excited to go out of this house.

"Sure! Freshen up and get down in ten."

"Ok"

Violet's POV

I was scared. What if Rosa was like her mother and Zina? I met Bianca before, and she was a terror to be around. I don't know how Papa (A/N Nickolas) fell in love with her. I shudder.

I knock on her door, and open the door when I hear a faint "Come In".

---(Time skip to when they reach Ares' school)---

(Still Vi's POV)

I shift my gear to park and get out of the car. I see Rosa looking at the school with recognition.

"Rosa?" I asked hesitantly.

"Is your son's name Ares Walter?" She asks.

I look at her shocked. "Yes. We decided to use my maiden name till he reaches middle school. How do you know?"

She smiles. "I am a volunteer assistant teacher here. I read stories to the children and conduct activities at the library."

"You're Miss Rose?" I ask. She nods. "I remember Ares talking about you" I say. "Scratch that, you're all he talks about on fridays! He gets up early every Friday because he gets to meet you!" I say laughing. She burst out laughing too.

"You go pick him up. I'll talk to the principal about me being his aunt. We can give him a surprise." She says.

"Deal."
