My feet stopped. They stopped moving, like they needed oil, but ran out. My eyes glanced up at the two doors in front of me. They were decorated nicely just like the rest of the school. The music room, the perfect place to practice playing my piano, because what music room doesn't have a piano?

I soon found my hand moving on it's own accord. My finger grazed the brass door handle and soon wrapped around it tightly, reassuring myself that the door wouldn't just slip away from me at any single moment.

After all I've been through, I can't believe I am here. After so many countless nights of wishing I could be here, I am. My heart started to beat faster when I slowly started to pull the door knob down towards the floor, causing the door to crack open. I tried to peek through, but with my luck, I saw nothing. Instead of opening the door up and seeing countless beautiful musical objects, I saw what appeared to be seven boys, all dressed up in weird uniforms.

"Welcome!"

I jumped. My eyes widened when one of the boys, the tall blonde, smiled at me. Where were the musical instruments? Just then, something caught my eyes. A black piano sitting all alone on the other aide of the room. I could feel happiness surging through my veins. I smiled.

"Er.... hello. I came here to practice piano, um.... can I use yours?" I asked, feeling a bit nervous towards these boys. A short brunette got up and walked over to me, stopping right before we were to collide.

"My name is Haruhi, yours?" He held out his hand, which I gladly took in mine.

"Kanake." I shook his hand. He smiled brightly and nodded, pointing at the piano. He seemed oddly feminine.

"Go ahead, play." He whispered. I smiled widely and nodded, slowly walking over to the piano, even though I could feel the uncomfortable staring. I gazed at the masterpiece in front of me. Beautiful arrangements of pure white keys and a soft leather stool.

My heart started to beat faster when I sat down. I hadn't played since.... well I don't even remember when the last time was to be honest. My fingers made their way to the ivory, barely grazing the delicate keys.

As I pressed down on the first key, my heart began to race. I was playing in front of seven complete strangers and I only knew one of their names let alone all of them. I pressed down on another key and another until I found myself playing. Each note came out softly, but sounded so bold mixed with the rest, creating a perfect symphony with just one set of keys.

My hands danced along the keys like they knew what they were doing, although I had no clue. My mind drifted away from the piano, but my hands were locked on the white and black pieces that created a hypnotic melody.

I felt their gazes intensify, as they stared at me. My heart thumped in my chest uncomfortably until I heard the doors open. I kept playing, but I no longer felt the odd presence of their eyes. It's like they all left all at once, but I knew that wasnt it. A girl had come in.
