Well hello there,
Welcome to my story!
My first story on Wattpad. Wow, it is happening.
Just saying this carrying some hope that you may be a little bit more forgiving...
And maybe to add to that: English is not my mother tongue. I have lived short times in English-speaking countries but this was ages ago. Pray with me that I will not disappoint you with my vocabulary and spelling.
I would also like to add - thank you Sir Rob. As he is the one that gave me the (complete unaware) nudge to go for it and write in English. As it is also not his mother tongue and boy he is just AMAZING in writing in it.
So I have been inspired by the Euro 2020 as I have a slight passion for football or soccer however you want to call it. (Although I will stick to football - come on it is played with a FOOT! And well the other one is played mostly with hands...) Who would judge me? 22 really fit guys running around and hopefully removing their shirts after scoring? It does have its perks.
Currently it is a fiction based in some parts on CR7. However I am quite fond of a lot of football players so he is going to get a bit mixed up with them.
And for the background story I have settled on, I am placing the team in a city I know quite well and is by the sea: Barcelona. For CR7 fans this is maybe a small shock but unfortunately I have never been to Madrid.
So enough talk - I will get on with it.
