Summer. It is usually the best time for teenagers you know late nights. No lessons. Being with your friends all day everyday. The warm weather. Getting the most beautiful tan. Well that would be the life for most students and it is. However, Dalia Mayson didn't agree with that. She despised summer. ''Useless'' or "A waste of energy" is what she would refer to it as. Rich parents. Big house. Endless amounts of cash. You'd think a girl like that would be throwing it all around in summer but not Dalia. Divorced parents. An alcoholic father and neglectful mother has left Dalia with her youngest brother to look after herself and a 2 year old.
