YUJIN POV

I throw on a jacket and some sweats before heading out to meet Jungkook at the arcade. I smile giddily at the thought of destroying our opponents and maybe... spending more time with him.

I finally make it to the cafe, looking around, only to see strangers. I shift on my feet a bit, embarrassed being alone in front of so many people with their friends.

I desperately think of a message, "Yah! Where are you? I swear if you're not here in 5 minu-"

"Chilllll Dumpling. I'm using the restroom, my brother should be out there, so you guys go inside first" He calmly responds.

I slump a bit, knowing my lack of social skills, "And how the hell am I supposed to know who your brother is?"

"Easy. He looks like me"

"I don't think he's here. Nobody's ugly and egotistical" I giggle as I anticipate his response.

"Haha, very funny. Just shout out the name, "Jin" and he'll respond"

I pout a bit and shake my head.

Just act how I always do. Don't show Jungkook that he's changed me- wait, what?

I dismiss the thought and swallow my pride before yelling, "Jin?"

A guy standing at the front of the arcade whips his head towards me before shooting me a dazzling smile and making his way to me.

Damn. Genes must run in the family.

As he gets closer, his eyebrows furrow and something flashes in his eyes.

I swallow, "Are you Jungkook's brother? Jin?"

He erases his previous expression and gestures to himself, "The one and only"

They are so similar...

"You're Jungkook's secret soulmate?" He asks.

"Secret?"

"Yup, he refuses to tell anyone about you, our parents don't even know what you look like" Jin laughs.

I smile along, but my heart feels heavy inside. Why am I hurt by that?

"You don't talk much, do you?" he sighs pointedly.

"I don't talk unless it's necessary"

He bursts out into laughter at that, "You're the exact opposite of Jungkook"

I can't help but genuinely smile at that.

"Do I know you?" he suddenly blurts.

I think back on the people I've met and have talked to, but his face doesn't come up, 

"No, I don't think so"

He stares at my face, going completely silent. Embarrassed by the attention, I slump a bit and nervously pull my hair back.

"Ah! You're Choi Yujin!"

I gape at him and give him a confused look.

He smiles, "Your parents are Choi Seojoon and Kim Haneun! The famous ex-soulmates!"

Right there, my heart stops dead. My breathing hitches and I stare at him with wide eyes.

"I-I don't know what you're talking abo-"

"I'm sure you're her, my friend's little sister told me you guys went to school together in Busan, she talked about you all the time"

Stars circle in my vision and I unknowingly step backwards, away from Jin, away from Jungkook's brother, away from a person who knows my background.

Jin notices my nervousness and steps toward me, "Hey, it's not a bad thing or anything, it was just like cool to meet a cele-"

Somebody pushes Jin to the side aggressively and replaces his position in front of me.

I look up to his face and my heart lurches in my throat.

Jungkook. 

He heard it all.

He only glares at me in disbelief.

"Hyung, get away from her. You don't want to catch her disease"
