I woke up with a pounding feeling in my head. I groaned. I attempt to open my eyes but the light is blinding. I let out another groan.

"Deserved. You didn't go home with me," Lily said, jokingly. "Here, take some Advil," she continued.

"Can you plop it on my mouth and help me drink water without opening my eyes?" I asked her.

"No. You're gonna have to open it anytime soon anyway. Might as well do it now." I groaned. I opened my eyes and shut them down immediately.

"Nuh-uh."

"Okay, have fun with your headache!" I groan.

"Ugh, come one. I'll open my mouth wide and you just have to drop the medicine on my mouth."

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"Oh for fucks sake, just take the damn pill!" Didn't know the asshole was here. I mean, my eyes are closed so that's definitely why. I ignored him. I finally opened my eyes after some time and the first thing I see Lily sitting on the edge of the bed. She's holding up a glass of water on her left hand and an Advil on the right. I drank the medicine and gave Lily a small thanks.

"I heard you left the party with a guy. Did he try to do anything with you or force you into something you didn't want?" Lily said with such concern. I smiled as I remembered Nathan. I had fun talking with him. He seems like a nice guy.

"Seems like a nice guy since you're over here smiling wide." She smirked. I rolled my eyes at her. I mean, she's right.

"Wait, so you saw me leave with him? Or did someone tell you about that?" I asked.

"Uhh..." she hesitated to tell me and looked over Rachelle's bed, where Lucas is sitting. I looked at him and he was looking at me. I looked away immediately.

The phone that was beside me lit up. Someone messaged me. I picked it up and smiled. It was Nathan.

From: Nathan

Do you wanna go out with me tonight? School is starting tomorrow and today's the last day we could have fun. I wanna spend it with you.

To: Nathan

Yes! Just text me the details.

I typed while smiling ear to ear but stopped when I realized it was probably a date. Am I ready? I haven't moved on yet and I don't want to make him feel like a rebound.

"Why? What's wrong?" Lily looked really concerned. I see Lucas look at me from my peripheral vision.

"Am I ready?" I asked Lily. She looks confused with what I said.

"To what?"

"To date," I said, barely a whisper.

"What?"

"To...date." I let out a breath.

"Uhh..." Oh, Lily is bad at these things.

"I'm gonna go. I think I'm ready." I forced a smile out.

"Do you want me to you know...be there?"

"No, it's fine. He's a nice guy."

"If you say so..." She looks worried.

It's 6:30 and he's picking me up at 7 pm. He said he's taking me to an Asian restaurant since I mentioned I loved the food Lily's parents cook when we were talking at the party. I just need to add some finishing touches in my make up and then I'll be good to go. I am wearing a pink silk turtleneck with long sleeves and a grayish blue trousers. My hair is down since it fits the look more.

After exactly 30 minutes, he's here, ON TIME! Very impressive. I opened the door and I he was looking down, fingers fidgeting. When he saw the door was open, he looked up and his mouth opened in shock. I blush.

"You look absolutely beautiful." I blush harder.

"Thank you," I said, shyly. "You look really handsome, too" I added. He smirked.

"Shall we go, m'lady?" He held out his hand. We both laughed. I placed my hand in his.

"Yes, we shall." We both laughed again.

After a few minutes of riding in a comfortable silence, we finally arrived at the restaurant which was not so far from our dorms. He opened the car door at his said and told me to wait. When he was out, he rushed on the passenger side and opened my door like a gentleman. I smiled at his gesture.

"Thank you," I said softly.

"You're welcome." He interlocked his fingers into mine. I looked down and looked up to see his face. He's grinning.

As we entered the restaurant, I can't help but look around. It looks absolutely beautiful. Different type of asian culture is displayed in the restaurant. We sat down at the corner where you can look at the scenery outside while eating. A waiter came to our tables and took our orders. I ordered butter chicken with paratha and Nathan ordered a chili crab. We talked and asked questions to get to know each other while waiting for our order.

"Okay, what's your favorite book?" He asked.

"Hmm...I don't have one. I mean every book is unique and is different so I can't really compare them and pick the best out of them. I am currently reading 'The Hating Game' by Sally Thorne and I am loving it."

"I might add that to the books I'll be reading." He smiled at me. I smiled back at him. He's very charming and sweet. Our food arrives and I digged in immediately. I moaned. He coughs. I laughed.

"I'm sorry, this taste so good. The spiciness is just right." He laughs.

"No, it's fine. I understand. Mine taste good as well. Wanna try?"

"Hell yeah, I love seafood"

When we were done eating, we asked for the cheque. I insisted on paying but he said he'll pay since he's the on who invited me. We went out of the restaurant with satisfaction and full tummies.

"I am definitely gonna eat here more often," I told him and he giggles. I just stared at him with a smile. I think I like him.

"What?" He looked confused.

"Nothing." I gave him a genuine smile.

"Let's go?"

"Yes"
