5 | A New Day |

I spent the whole night crying until I finally fell asleep, I woke up got changed and looked into the mirror. I said to myself "you can do this just stay strong, don't let anyone push you around!" I stared at the mirror for a couple more seconds before I got up the courage to walk outside.

"Hey... Willow!" I look slightly to the side and see newt walking over to me...

I take a deep breath, "what do you want newt?" I knew it would hurt him if I acted annoyed but I really didn't want to hurt him. "I just wanted to apologise for yesterday, I was angry because I-" you cut him off "that isn't an excuse for taking your anger out on me!" He lowers his head and I realise I was shouting, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to shout at you..."

"I deserve it..." he said in a sorrowful voice, "no you didn't... can we talk in my hut?" He looked in my eyes and replied "ye sure." We walked into my hut and he closed the door as he entered.

"I'm so sorry willow, I was jealous because I-I really like you..." I look at newt surprised but inside my heart felt like it was beating out my chest, I felt like I was about to explode! Not knowing what to do I walked over to newt and I didn't know how it would end but I knew I need to do it or I would regret it.

I put my hands on newts face and pulled his head down, our lips touched so softly, in that moment I felt like everything was right. I slowly pulled away and we locked eyes I didn't know what to do or say, "Im sorry I shouldn't-" but before I can finish I'm cut off by newts lips pressing against mine.

A few minutes pass but a knock at the door interrupts the kiss, we pull away quickly and I answer "umm... come in" I gulp as Gally walks in, "you too are supposed to be working!" I sigh and gally isn't impressed. "What was that for greenie?! Do you want to spend the day in the pit instead?!" Newt is angered by gally stone towards me and bursts "DONT SPEAK TO HER LIKE THAT GALLY!!" Gally wasn't happy about the way newt spoke to him, "sorry I forgot your just a useless girl who clearly can't do anything!" I look at the ground trying to hold back my tears, newt screams at gally, "GET OUT NOW! DONT FORGET WHOS SECOND IN COMAND I WILL PUT YOU IN THE PIT FOR SPEAKING TO HER LIKE THAT!!" Gally gives me a big growl before walking out.

A few moments after he left I began to cry, newt pulled me into a hug to comfort me "hey it's ok love, I'm here your safe." I just wanted to stay there the full day, "I can't do this anymore..." newt looks at me frightened about what I meant. "Hey everything will be fine... let's take the day off and we can stay here and talk." I look up at newt and nod my head.
