Hot but Immortal

Back to school!

Its back to school. After so much pain in the holidays. Its going to be different without them here. My mum and dad died in a car crash about two months ago. They were headed to visit my great grandmother but they didn't make it.

Its been tough through the holidays. Everyone I see looks at me with pity. They treat me as if I have an illness. I don't want pity. I don't need anything from them.

Everyone treats me better because my parents died. They don't make fun of me because of that. Well I don't want their pity.

"Pearl, Carla's here," my Aunt Jess called out. She is my guardian now. She takes care of me and my brother. I see how much she suffers at times. Its tough for all of us. I went downstairs and took my lunch from the kitchen table. "Bye!" i shouted as I left. Carla was waiting for me in her car. She smiled at me but I knew it was fake. She was showing pity.

Carla is my best friend. We have been best friends for a long time now. She has been there for me always. I couldn't ask for anything better. "Hey Carla. Thanks for picking me up." We talked all the way to school but i wasn't in a great mood. She could sense it. I felt bad though coz i know she is trying her best.

We got to school. Everyone just stared at me, some guys were laughing at me. Other girls came and said hi and left. It was all different. I should be feeling happy now but I don't.

Jezelle came and gave me a hug. A hug that left me in pain. Jezelle is one of my close friends. She is the blonde, hot, kinda skimpy girl. She loves shopping a lot, she tries to get every cute guy she sees. I still love her. She has been there for me always just like Carla. Speaking of Carla, she was staring at some cute guy. He was asking for directions to a class. I could tell he was new. Well he must be prepared for a hell of a ride. All I can say is he has a cute butt. He turned around and it was just umm i dont know what to say. He is so cute. He has muscles and he has hazel eyes and cool hair.

"Hi, do you know where the Chemistry class is?" He said. I thought I was dreaming but he was talking to me. He walked away, i am sure he thought i was ignoring him. "Down the hallway, turn right and walk a bit and you will see a class next to the trophy closet." I said. He smiled at me. "Thanks, see you around." His voice was really cute and kinda hoarse.

I went to the cafeteria and looked for Carla. She was already waiting for me. I went and sat next to her. "So did you see the new guy?" Carla said. "Yeah I did. Hes okay." I said trying to hide my lie i really thought he was hot. "May I sit here?" I looked up to see who it was. It was the new hottie. "Yeah go ahead." Carla said. What? Why did she say yes?

The whole time during lunch he was looking at me and smiling. We talked for a bit and laughed. I really liked him. He seemed like a good guy. The bell rang and I went to my locker to get my stuff. I closed my locker and I looked up and saw him. He was in front of me smiling.

"Hey, I wanted to ask, do you know any restaurants in Cold Lake?" He said. Why did he want to know? "Well theres an Italian restaurant close to the grocery store. "Thanks. "So would you like to hang out during this week?" He asked me. I couldn't believe he asked me this. "I'm Zylen by the way."
