Chapter 6 The Roof

CARLS POV:
I woke up to the sound of Peyton snoring! I started stroking her beautiful soft hair. She woke up and I pulled my hands away but it was no use. She got up and saw what I was doing. "Haha" I started laughing. "What are you laughing at?!" "Look down!" I pointed at her belly because her shirt was halfway up. She laughed "Geez Peyton!" I look at her side and saw a lot of bruises. I stood up walking toward her. I grabbed for her side but she jerked away. "Stop carl I'm fine don't touch it!"

PEYTON'S POV:
I didn't want carl to see all my bruises. I stormed out of the shed and back to Alexandria. "Open the gates!" I yelled. Carl was behind me running "Peyton wait!" I started running faster when I ran into rick! "Where have you been?" "Wheres my son!?" "Look rick I- "dad stop please I'll explain! These girls beat her up so she passed out I had to take her to a shed so we could- carl stopped talking and he stormed off to 3 girls that were walking together and all I could here was a bunch of yelling and i knew exactly why. "You little bitch I know your the one that beat her!" He pointed to me. Everyone's eyes were on me! Rick came over and pulled carl back. "Carl chill!" "Dad look what they did to her!" He walked over to me and lifted my shirt showing everyone my side, then he pointed to my face. "Carl stop just STOP!" I ran off to the house next to the one I'm staying in. I went to the top floor and climbed out the window on to the roof. I started to punch the shingles until my hands bled! Im mad at the girls so I take it out on him which isn't fair. He's my best friend! My only friend for that matter. God I'm so stupid I should be yelling at those bitches! Not carl! I heard someone groan and I turned to see Michonne. "Hey!" She didn't looked phased by what happened with me. "They need to make these windows a little bigger you know my size." I laughed. We sat there for hours just talking about are selves. "Hey Peyton can I tell you a secret I've never told anyone else?" "Sure.. But why tell me?" "Because out of everyone here you are the most like me!" "Well ok what is it?" "I think U love rick." "Really..?" I was kinda confused.. "Actually yah. I've never said that out loud and now that I have I'm a little embarrassed.." "Don't be." I felt guilty for looking disgusted. "Can you tell me a secret?" "Um.. Ok fine." "Lets hear it!" I hesitated at first but then I let it out.
