Prologue: I'm coming for you Evangeline
Haiden Justin Crane:
"Evangeline sweetheart you can't hide from me forever baby if you come to me i'll forgive you and we can forget this whole incident and move on with our lives, but if you refuse your punishment will be much more severe," I threatened. I stopped and tuned my hearing to the sound of her frantically beating heart she had tried to hide herself in the trees but that was yet another fruitless attempt. I raised my hand and set the forest on fire ensuring there was no way to escape. She leapt from the tree just as it was consumed by fire she ran back into the open and started running toward the direction of her mother's house but as she got closer the flames surrounding the forest leapt higher blocking her path. She turned and tried going back the way she came but she ran right into my waiting arms. I then hoisted her over my shoulder and headed back toward the river where the entrance to the underworld was hidden. On the way back Evangeline continued to fight and struggle slightly frustrated i slapped her soundly on the butt and continued down into my underground kingdom. Once in my underground kingdom i threw Evangeline onto the couch and began pacing angrily around the living room,"How long do you plan to keep doing this i can't keep chasing after you everytime you feel the urge to try and escape you have to help me baby i'll go insane if i lose you is that what you want?" I asked. " No of course not honey," She answered. "Alright you promise you won't run away again?" I asked. "I promise," She replied."If you do there will be hell to pay," I threatened. She nodded in understanding, "Good," I said, "Now get out of my sight." Without another moment or any further hesitation she left the room leaving me alone with my shattered and chaotic thoughts.
Evangeline Crane:
Another failed escape attempt this wasn't the first time or the last time i'd tried to escape my insane and deranged husband Haiden but time after time he had caught me and dragged me back to our dark desolate underground kingdom. I had tried to be tolerate of his constant mistreatment but i had grown tired of his behavior and did the only sensable thing i could think of and headed back to my mother's house or at least i had tried until he had caught me. Now here i sat alone and miserable wishing that just once my husband might show just an inch of kindness and understanding towards her but of course that was a hopeless cause. "Madam your husband request your presence at dinner tonight he says it's mandatory not optional," said a servant. I nodded in understanding and dismissed the servant before going to the closet and picking out something to wear to dinner then i laid down and fell asleep. I felt so depressed that i couldn't get up and make myself go to dinner with Haiden i knew he would be angry with me but he would hopefully have to understand that he was the cause of my depression. A few minutes later Haiden stormed into the bedroom and demanded to know why i hadn't come to dinner i didn't say anything i just glared at him through tear-stained lashes and closed my eyes and ignored him which i knew would only make him angrier but i no longer cared. He didn't love me he certainly didn't care for me if he did he would have let me go when i had tried to escape earlier.
