Chapter 5 - Seokjin's intellect 😇

As decided earlier, the losing team, aka your team was supposed to set up tents and prepare dinner. You decided to make dinner because you were as good as a rock at setting up tents while Yoongi went to other guys in your team, helping them with other things.

The winning team sat down under a big tree in the open space to relax and chill.

You started cleaning the spoons, ladles and other utensils to start with your task. Washing the big cooker, your vision fell upon a figure sitting under the tall tree. It was Jungkook.

He was laying down on the grass, plopping his head up on his elbows and talking to some of his other friends and Aria. You switched your view from him to anything possible.

You put water on the gas to boil so you could make the simplest dish in the world, noodles. Waiting for the water to heat up, you saw Jin coming to you. He stood there folding his arms over his chest.

"Do you umm.. Want anything Jin?" you asked unsure of his purpose to stand there idly.

"What are you doing?" he asked, raising his eyebrow a little.

"I'm making noodles. We lost right?" you answered with a defeated chuckle. You add the noodles to the water in the pot.

"Is that how you make noodles young lady?" Jim said with much more raised eyebrows and cross armed.

"Yes. Isn't this how everyone makes noodles?" you questioned him scrunching your eyebrows as well.

"Yes. Yes they do. IN BIZARRE WORLD" he almost screamed at you. You flinched at his sudden outburst.

"Why? What's wrong with this?" you asked innocently.

"Nothing much. Just that YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BOIL THE WATER FIRST BEFORE ADDING NOODLES TO IT MISS Y/N" he lost it and started scolding you out of nowhere.

You realise that the water is actually not boiling and you messed up the first thing you decided to do.

You were still constructing words to spill to him when he beat you to it and came over the table, snatching the ladle from your hands.

"Give me that. I'll show you how it's done" he said and started cooking himself.

Yoongi joined him after helping others set up tents and wood for the fire. He helped him with rice and tofu.

You stood there blinking your eyes watching his expert hands making the entire dinner for 11 people. Yoongi helped him side by side. Humming a song, he finished the entire dinner.

"All done" Jin shouted when he's done with the food. You blinked like a kid watching in amusement.

"I just like cooking a lot" he shrugged before preparing to serve and plate the food for everyone.

"This was fun" you heard Yoongi mumbling from beside him. He had a tired but content smile on his face.

"I never knew you could cook! Wow Yoongi. I'm impressed" Aria came to take her plate of food and compliment Yoongi. Yoongi profusely blushed at the words and started fiddling with his hoodie's straps.

"Alright! Let's dig in" Jin announced and everyone started eating their food happily. After the tiring day, the food tasted heavenly.

Midway eating, your eyes darted towards the one male you've been wanting to ignore but were not able to. Jungkook. He was with the same girl he's been flirting with the entire day and to make the matter worse, the girl was sitting on his lap this time.

They were practically behaving like lovesick couples, feeding each other and being all mushy and touchy. At one point, they almost shared the same strand of noodle getting closer and closer to almost have a kiss but stopped themselves immediately, giggling like idiots.
