How Can I Forget? (On-going)

Chapter 6

The next day came and I saw Gab in his office. I don't know how to approach him but I really need to talk to him, so I just knocked on his door. Bahala na to.

"Come in" Ang busy niya naman. Kakauwi niya nga lang.

"Gab, help me again?" I said it while looking directly at him.

"Why? Anong gulo pinasok mo Tina? Sinasabi ko na nga ba na bad news yang Zachary na yan sa buhay mo!" Over talaga makareact tong si Gab eh.

"Gab, OA na. Papatulong lang akoang hanapin ang kapatid ko ulit."

"Akala ko kung ano. Sure. Do you have any idea kung saan natin hahanapin si Justin?" He said like asking me for my plan. Matagal na naming hinahanap ang kapatid ko and unfortunately tinigilan na namin kasi hindi talaga namin nakita pero ngayon, I  swear, I will find him.

"After I finish signing the papers, I will go here again sa office mo and let's go na ha? Or I will wait for you to finish your work." I feel happy knowing that maybe I will bring home my brother again. I know hindi niya pa ako nakakalimutan kasi he was 10 years old when I lost him, them.

I excitedly and hurriedly sign the papers so that we can start looking for my brother. It just took me 4 hours signing the papers because even though I am in hurry, I still read and analyzes the papers.

"Gab let's go na. Are you already done?" I saw Gab fiddling with his phone na lang. Maybe he also did his work fast, faster than me hahaha

Gab insisted that he will drive, so pinagbigyan ko na. We arrived in this public market and I saw this one boy carrying vegetables from the truck. I know it's him. I can feel it.

"Gab stop the car. I saw my brother" He stopped the car with full confusion in his eyes. I got out of the car.

"Justin!" I called the boy and it seems like he didn't heard me and so nilapitan ko siya and hugged him.

"Anong ginagawa mo miss!" Nilalayo niya ang yakap ko sa kanya but I was still crying when I heard Gab and helped my brother distanced me from him.

"Justin, si ate to. Matagal na kitang hinahanap. Buti at nakita na kita. Ang saya-saya ko ngayon Justin" Nanatili akong umiiyak habang yakap ako ni Gab.

"Justin, naaalala mo pa ba kami? Si kuya Gab to" Nagsalita na rin si Gab kasi patuloy na lang ako sa pag-iyak. Nakita ko ang isang butil ng luha sa mga mata ni Justin at dahil dun, Mas Lalo akong umiiyak. Sobrang kong namiss ang kapatid ko. Galit ba siya sa akin?

"Ate" sabi niya at biglang yumakap sa amin ni Gab

"Namiss kita baby" Sabi ko habang umiiyak nang  biglang may humampas sa likod ni Justin at napatingin kami dun kasali si Gab.

"Ano ba hoy justin! Hindi kita binabayaran para mag-drama lang diyan!" Aba'y gago to ah! Aawayin ko na sana pero naunahan ako ni Gab na magsalita

"With all due respect Miss, Justin will not be working here anymore and if may kailangan ka pa, ito na ang bayad sa lahat ng tulong mo kay Justin and one more thing, DO NOT LAY YOUR HANDS WITH JUSTIN EVER AGAIN." I didn't know that Gabriel has this side and I really admired him for that, for protecting my brother.

We were at the car already and I can't stop looking at Justin. He looks so matured from his age. He grew some muscles too. Maybe it's because of the carry thing.

"Justin, do you want to eat? " Gab asked him and he immediately nodded. I feel pity for my brother. He doesn't deserve all those cruelness in the world.

"Pero kuya pwede dito na lang tayo sa sasakyan kumain, nakakahiya ang itsura ko kumpara sa itsura niyo ni ate." When I heard that, I immediately looked at him directly in the eyes.

"Don't say that Justin. I will never be ashamed being with you." I said that and the tears started to fall again.

"Me too Justin" Gab added to make Justin feel comfortable with us

"Sige na po ate, kuya. Kahit ngayon lang." Justin said with pleading eyes. I can't help but to cry.

"Gab let's just do takeout and let's go home." I said and Gab just nodded.

We just did takeout and eat out dinner in the car and Gab drove us home. I can finally call this as true home because I finally have my famiy - Justin. I thanked Gab and he said that he'll see us at the office tomorrow.

I looked at Gab sleeping soundly at the sofa like he hadn't sleep for a few days. I just woke him up an dguided him to his new room and that night, I felt sincerely happy.
