When I sat at my desk I looked around and realised none of my team mates were here.
The class were all giving me a weird look and the teacher attempted to speak English.
"Um the boys go to basket match now."
I smiled.
"Sorry where are the boys?"
He frowned at my perfect japanese. I had studied it at school after all.
"They are getting ready for a match. You need to go to the dorms as well."
"I guess you're more comfortable with japanese Sensei."
He frowned and waved his hand for me to leave.
I ambled back to our dorm to find it in chaos. The whole team was in our dorm.
"Oh hey Kin, your kits on your bed." I frowned at Aomine who merely winked and continued an argument about Momoi's boobs being smaller than mine.
I walked to my bed to find my kit on the bed. It was black with a red stripe down the side. I was number 10.
I packed my kit in my shoulder bag, walked into the changing room and got changed into the training kit which consisted of a baggy team shirt and shorts that were also laying on my bed and pulled on the new school sports hoodie Momoi had given me.
I walked out and was greeted by hushed voices. I crawled to where the boys were sitting and listened to their conversation.
"I thought the old Akashi was back."
"He only comes back during basketball matches, I thought you had figured that out already." I heard Midorima whisper back.
"It is easier on him to be like this." Kuroko added.
I blinked what do they mean 'old Akashi'.
I poked Murisakibara and sat in the middle of him and Kise.
"What do you mean old akashi?" I whispered to Murisakibara.
"Aka-chin is special." He whispered back.
I crossed my legs and suddenly the door slammed open.
"If Charlie isn't here I will kill her."
I grinned as Akashi stood in the doorway looking seriously flustered.
"It didn't take much to get under your skin your highness." I called from my position causing the boys apart from Murisakibara to jump out of their skins.
"Charlie I will talk to you about your behaviour later. Team we will be heading out soon, you better all have your kits in your bag."
He then signalled for everyone to follow him as he led us to a coach waiting outside the school.
I got on last as Akashi decided to check everyone's bags meaning I had to hide a few items under my shirt.
I walked down the aisle and after noticing there were no spaces I was hit with a wave of déjà vu.
I shook my head trying to ease my nerves and eventually sat next to a boy I had yet to be introduced to.
"Oh hey there, I'm Fukui Miyu. It's cool to finally meet the legendary Kinmura-san."
I frowned. Legendary? He quickly carried on.
"So since you changed your last name to Kinmura did you realise that kin means gold? Well the generation of miracles are all named after colours which are reflected in their hair apart from kuroko who's colour is black but he's a shadow so it makes sense."
He stopped and panted and I gave him a thumbs up.
"So did you name yourself gold? As in you are the best?"
"No it was my step mothers maiden name, she recommended it."
"Wanna here another cool fact? Our university may look like it specialised in sport but it is actually for kids who are going to inherit their family fortune. Kids who are rich and forced to do things that they hate so the Akashi family made this school a long time ago for those who want to escape."
Again he panted. I looked around desperately trying to find someone to swap with.
"I'm sorry for all the facts, I get nervous around girls."
I looked back and he was suddenly quiet, shy and hiding his face in his fringe.
"So what's your speciality?"
He looked up at me in surprise.
"I can analyse basketball plays and figure out the essence of it."
"Oh I can analyse to."
He smiled at me.
"Go on then."
I blinked at looked from his broad shoulders to the way he panted.
"You have played basketball for a while now however you used to swim. You weren't good. You can't jump high but have good agility. You have little stamina but draw players attention to you due to your flamboyant attitude."
My feet were tapping out an irregular rhythm as I realised the coach had chosen that moment to get quiet.
"Momoi, I think you should start worrying. She can analyse, she is really tall and her boobs are bigger than yours." Aomine smirked at Momoi who as sitting on the aisle next to him.
"Shut up stupid." She blushed and I could hear Kuroko comforting her.
I turned in my seat and patted her head,
"Suki you are way better than me, I can only analyse because I was banned from playing basketball for ages."
She looked up and smiled and I sat back in my chair.
Time to recharge.
