I woke up the next day with a smile on my face and I smelled some food. Who might have cook. Maybe it's Gab or it's one of their chefs. I immediately brush my teeth and took a bath to go down because I am excited to see my brother.
Nang makababa ako, nakita ko agad si Justin na nag hahanda ng mga pagkain. How dare Gab na utusan kapatid ko. He just needs to be treated like a baby because he's my baby.
"Where's your Kuya Gab baby?" nagtataka Kong tanong sa kanya.
"Pupunta ba dapat siya dito ate?" I looked at him with my confused look
"So, ikaw ang nagluto niyan? How come?" I asked him habang papunta na ako sa mesa. Ang bango kasi talaga ng niluluto niya.
"Oo naman ate. Marunong naman akong magluto pati nga paglilinis, marunong ako." When I heard that, I felt a pang in my heart because he really did matured.
"Galing naman ng baby brother ko. Fix yourself kasi isasama kita sa trabaho ko." Sabi ko sa kanya at nakita ng dali-dali siyang umakyat para mag-ayos. He's still a baby afterall. He's just 15 years old for pete's sake!
We headed to my office and seeing him this happy, makes me happy too.
"Aren't you mad at me?" I asked him kasi baka galit siya sa akin at ngayon ko lang siya nakita after 5 years.
"No ate. That's the least thing that I would feel towards you. Ever since bata pa tayo and mama and papa were still alive, I can see how much you wanted mama to treat you like she treated me and I don't feel mad at people whom I love. Things may happen and nasaktan man ako pero I know na you did your best to find me and the evidence of that is that I am here now."
"I love you and I miss you Justin"
"Pero ate, boyfriend mo ba si Kuya Gab?" He suddenly asked and I almost stepped on the brake dahil sa gulat. Speaking of boyfriend, naalala ko bigla si Zachary. After ko kasi siyang ihatid sa kanyang condo, hindi ko na siya nakita ulit.
"Of course not baby. He's just my friend who helped me when I was struggling back then and also up to now, he always helps me without doubt." I honestly told him
"Bagay sana kayo ate" I pretended that I did not heard him kasi ang awkward. I don't see myself ending up with Gabriel.. Yes, he's like perfect and all but I just can't/
"Were already here baby" I told him as we got out of the car and headed to my office.
"Engr. Garcia, Engr. Montecillo told me to go directly to his office." Ano na naman ba to.
"Okay. Let's go Justin" He quietly followed me and was busy looking around the office.
"Justin! Do you wanna go out? Let's buy you some things." Justin looks shy and accepted the offer of his Kuya Gab
"Tina, let's just ditch work today and go to the mall. I want to spend time with Justin" Wow ha. Close sila?
" Wow naman Gabriel. Baka nakakalimutan mong kapatid ko siya, at hindi sayo?" sabi ko habang nakapameywang
"Ate let's just go. After all Kuya Justin has been good to us especially to you" Justin suddenly said.
"Buti pa si Justin na appreciate ako, yung iba jan, susko na lang!" sabi niya habang nag-aayos
"Fine let's go!" I finally surrendered/
Naka rating din kami sa mall ng matiwasay. Hindi ko nakita ang paglaki ni Justin simula 10 years old siya kaya nagugulat pa rin ako na sobrang masayahin niyang tao pagkatapos sa lahat ng nangyari sa kanyang buhay.
Habang naglalakad kami, nakita ko si Zachary at kinabahan ako bigla. Gusto ko saiyang kausapin at lapitan kaso baka di niya ako pansinin. May kasama kasi siyang matandang babae na pero mukhang elegant pa rin. Bahala na, after siguro nung sa Tagaytay, friends na siguro kami diba.
Naglakad ako palapit sa kanya, narinig ko pang pinigilan ako ni Gab pero patuloy pa rin ako sa paglalakad.
"Hi Zac! Kamusta na?" sabi ko habang nakangiti at kumakaway sa kanya pero nagtaka ako ng tiningnan niya lang ako at parang di niya ako kilala. Nasaktan ako pero mas nasaktan ako sa sinabi siya sa matandang babae na hindi niya ako kilala at nilagpasan lang ako. Ang sakit gaga. Bat ba kasi ako umasa? May girlfriend yun eh. Ikakasal na nga.
"Tina! I told you that he's complicated!" Gab and Justin ran towards me.
"Ang bastos naman nung lalaki ate! Ayoko na siyang makita ulit" Here's Justin, whining like a baby, like he's not 15 years old already. Hay.
"Baby, and Gab, It's okay alright? At least I considered him as my friend diba? But since he doesn't know me daw, I don't know him na din." I faked a laugh and brought them to the nearest restaurant, so we could eat.
I was hurt and I don't expect this treatment from him because the last time I remember, we were just fine. Bahala na nga.
