He obviously lies about wheee is mother is because he looks down and to his right which means he's ankh  an stuff up on the spot, and he also shrugs his shoulders which is the universal gesture for "I dunno". He also cancels any plans at his house whenever his mom is home and the day after he comes back with bruises. ...I think I've been hanging out with Jax too much =>=}
