Anokhi stood in Shauyra's penthouse wonderstruck that it had happened after all their clashes, hurdles and misunderstanding. His Badi Ma and Bade Papa had left no stones unturned along with Shagun to tear them apart.

Here she was thinking Shaurya had believed her brutal words and actions , deciding to leave her behind and go back to Shagun. She shook her head but then stopped. The heavy clothing and jewelry shook with her as she tried to kick herself for not telling him the truth of Tej Saberwal right away.

Shaurya stood in the doorway adoring his newlywedded wife. How could this brilliant student decide to give up her immense love for him to ensure he didn't lose his career and family. She had not realized how strong of a team they could be? They had taught that Ammol and his group a lesson together.

Anokhi always had been self-sacfricing in a way. But he was glad she didn't marry that stupid Monty as her parents had wished last year. Today he stood watching her take in their new reality. He would always be hers, and she would be his.

He had created that whole charade with their familes and friends because he wanted her to realize they were worth fighing for. She didn't have to be the sacfrical lamb everytime. She had a right to her dreams and wishes just like the rest of humankind. This silly girl was going to throw everything away. He thanked the stars he went back to ACP Ahir's place when he did.

She had thought he had easily left her because of her rude behavior.

He had asked her to take his kasam.

When he heard Tej Saberwal his beloved father figure for twenty-five years had blackmailed her, it hurt him more than when Badi Ma had blackmailed him due to heart attack. He knew right away she could not be that ill. He was no doctor but he had caught many students in the past faking sick to get out of exams.

He took a deep breathe and went into the room and lightly touched her shoulder.

She smiled as she realized it was him. She turned to face him.

"PS I still can't believe you did this all to show me your love," she declared.

He took her in his arms firmly,

" When you fainted at the college my heart stopped. Phir mujhe shaak hone laga ki tum aise kisi wajah se kari thi mere saath aur tumari Aastha Ma'am ki saath," he replied.

He caressed her hair and cheeks.

Anokhi savored his touch. She felt safe in his embrace. She could have lost him had he not come back to tell her off that fateful day,

She had to play like she didn't care about him, but her heart was already so far gone.

The past few weeks she had lost weight from not eating , sleeping and the immense stress of hiding her true feelings.

" I really do love you Anokhi. I hope you never try to run from me again. When you were missing my world stopped. I couldn't breathe. I went to ACP Ahir to help me find you. When you ended up being at his place , I was stunned but relieved you were all right," he admitted.

She turned teary eyed.

" PS,I am sorry, I thought I was doing the best for you.."

His one hand went to the small of her back, holding her in an even stronger grip.

"If you try to run again Mrs. Shauyra Saberwal, I will never stop looking for you. Honestly, it's best you stop wasting time we could be romancing together," he said shly.

She looked at him solemnly.

She had been truly stupid and immature at how she handled everything,

" Thanks to Mata rani for my new beginning with a man who understands and loves me so much!" She had always wanted to be loved deeply and with consideration for her dreams. There now in front of her was her wishes come true.

She spoke up feeling his intense glare on her face.

"Main tumari hoon, Mr. Shaurya Saberwal, hamesha ke liye,"

He smiled and kissed her forehead.

She was in a state of bliss.

He stepped back and caressed her again.

" I think my lovely wifey needs a good meal before we start our romance for remainder of this evening. Chalo Khanna Thanda hora hai. I must fulfill my duties as your husband and lifetime partner in crime, and ensure you are always healthy and happy," he declared.

She slipped her hand in his , he pressed his lips to her hand as they headed back out to the kitchen to eat a late dinner.
