chapter 2

I'm here out of your house. Come out!
I texted piku and waited for her.

In a minute.
She replied.

I sat there and left a text to Shweta asking about her whereabouts. Piku hopped in the car with a small over packed bag.
"We are going for party for few hours, right?" I asked to check if I was misinformed about the destination.

"Of course. I lied to my parents, I told them I am staying over at your house for research paper because they won't allow me to go. I am sorry I should have told you that before but I forgot."

"It's fine. I have time limit till 11 too."

"It's fine the party will stop at 10:30."

"Specific timing. Wow!"

"Let's go from here before my parents stare us both to death."

Both of her parents were lurking us from the window. I wonder what they will be thinking.

We reached at the destination the place was definitely wasn't exactly I expected but piku has sparkle in her eyes when she look around. She told me she had been here once when she was a kid. One of her friend had slumber party. The place was quiet, it was three storeyed building. I followed piku because I see no other person here.
She walked back to the building, there was underground place, broken-slippery stairs going downwards.
I heard classical music and people chartering. I was relieved that there's party not us entering dead scene.

"What place is this?" I had to ask.

"It's basically a party that you'll love. People come here to live in their favorite fantasy world. Like I am obsessed with six crows world, so tonight here at party I got to be who ever I want. Call me 'Nina Zenik'. You have to chose your fantasy world character and register yourself."

This sounds like a party of fantasias. I couldn't just think of one character all sudden at once. I look around and saw people from Hogwarts, Asgard, Neverland, golden barrows, vampires from mystic falls, and so many other.

"Chose quickly and wisely. Once you chose your character you have to stay in that for ever, here in party." Piku said as she was changing herself into Nina Zenik.

"I can't chose in a seconds. I need time. Why didn't you tell me before. I would have made list and have choose perfect character."

"No ma'am you can't. You enter this chambers and you just know who you want to be. It's the rules of this place." said the guy dressed in black clothes with white wings.

"I am Micah Domitus from crescent city." He  introduced himself.

"Hello" I said awkwardly.

"I seek you as Bryce Quinlan but decision is yours. Time has limit here, don't let your brain thoughts steal this moments." He said waving goodbye.

"So?" piku raised her eyebrow tapping her feet.

"I am obsessed with house of earth and half blood but Danika is my favorite till now, I love to be Bryce too. I can't decide."

"Pick one. The wig section have two wigs left, one is red hair and other is blue. You have to claim one yours and be that character here. Fun is about to start."

"Red hair it is. I'm sorry Danika I hope you understand the circumstances here. I am Bryce."

"Great. Now go and change quickly, I will register your name and details by then."

I went in a little booth covered with curtains. There were box of wigs, necklace, ears and clothes. I searched quickly took red hair wig and ear and got out of booth. I was fine with my clothes and accessories.

"Hello Bryce." Piku greeted.

"Hello Nina." We both giggled.

"Okay, let's roam around and find our fantasy land people and have fun."

We both separated our ways. She talked to people standing near book shelves like she knew them for longtime. I took a corner and prayed no one talks to me. I don't know what type of party is this.

I checked my phone and there were calls and text from Jay. I face time him. He received thankfully.
He laughed looking at me.

"Done?" I asked.

"What and where are you?"

"At a party with piku, where people dressed up as their favorite character from fantasy world and have fun."

"You clearly look like opposite of having fun. Also,  My question is 'why?' "

"I don't know. I thought it'll be cool to have fun and party but this isn't fun. Other friends are no where to find. It's just me, piku and unknown people."

"Try and talk, don't prejudge people. Be the character for your fantasy world, what are you dressed as?" He asked.

"Bryce from house of earth and half blood."

"No idea." he said.

"So, why did you called earlier?"

"Just to check up on you. Nothing much."

"Lying to me. Seriously, jay?"

"I wanted to talk to you something earlier but now I feel it's not that important, just stupid matter."

"You can talk all stupid matter with me. Come on spill it."

"It'll be good if we talk after you leave this party."

"It's alright. No one's listening."

"Fine."
