I've been wanting to write an X1 fanfic for the longest time, but haven't been able to until now. Obviously, their futures did not go as we anticipated. Thus, I'm going to clear up some things for this story.
1. X1 still has five years together. The first chapter takes place in January 2020, which irl would have been the month they disbanded. But in this story, while their hiatus happened, they didn't disband. They stayed together and came back stronger than ever. Since I'm pretending that the events of January 2020 were different, everything until the present is also different. Does that make sense? I hope it does.
2. The female lead of the story is an aspiring actress, and she starred in one of X1's early music videos. After being in that MV, she was cast by a company and shot into stardom. Two years later, she's now a very popular actress, and fate brings her and X1 back together...
3. Ignore the fact that these idols have to go to the military. For the purposes of the story, just pretend that they went before/can go later.
4. The story takes place in early 2022, so the ages listed (in the characters chapter, which is next), are the ages of the characters in 2022.
5. I support and love X1 so, so much. I miss them together a lot. But writing this fanfic about them after their disbandment doesn't mean I don't respect the groups they're in right now. I'm continuing to support the members in whatever ways I can, and as long as they're happy, I'm happy too. I miss X1 and wish they were together, but I'm happy to see the boys all happy and growing in their success now.
This is all I have for now. I'll try to clear up more things (if necessary) as we go along.
