KeepxOut #1 And Twinkle's Date

.....

The date was November 26th, 2021. Let's see what's happening in Negi Root City today. Rhys Hewitt (KeepxOut #1) was currently alone and bored in his house. His parents have gone Black Friday shopping.

KeepxOut #1: I need some company. I know! I'll ask Talia to hang out with me.

He picked up his phone and called his friend Talia.

Twinkle: Hello?

KeepxOut #1: Hi, Talia. It's me, Rhys.

Twinkle: Hi! I was planning to call you, actually.

KeepxOut #1: You were?

Twinkle: Yeah. Are you doing anything right now?

KeepxOut #1: No. My parents are shopping because it's Black Friday.

Twinkle: My parents are gone, too. Wanna hang out? I'll come to your house.

KeepxOut #1: Okay.

Twinkle: Sure. I'll follow Google Maps' directions and come to your house.

KeepxOut #1: I'll be here.

He hung up first. He then went downstairs.

KeepxOut #1: Hmm...maybe she won't mind Thanksgiving leftovers?

About 20 minutes later, Talia arrived at Rhys' house. She rang the doorbell. Rhys answered it.

KeepxOut #1: Hey.

Twinkle: Hello.

KeepxOut #1: Come on in.

Talia walked in the house.

Twinkle: You have a nice place.

KeepxOut #1: Thank you. It's not much, but it's home.

Twinkle: So, you have any Thanksgiving leftovers?

KeepxOut #1: I have a lot. My fridge is packed with all kinds of stuff. I got mashed potatoes, turkey, pumpkin pie...you name it.

Twinkle: I like turkey. Let's reheat that. And the mashed potatoes. And maybe for dessert, we'll have that pie.

KeepxOut #1: It'll be like Thanksgiving all over again.

And so, the 2 of them were now eating their dinner.

Twinkle: Rhys, can I ask you something?

KeepxOut #1: Sure. Anything.

Twinkle: Were you thinking on asking me out?

KeepxOut #1: ...Yeah. I have been thinking on that for at least a month. Remember that experiment that you made in school? With the oranges and the baking soda?

Twinkle: Yeah.

KeepxOut #1: I really liked that experiment. And all those other ones that you showed me.

Twinkle: Well, those were just fun little experiments.

KeepxOut #1: I know. All the other kids in our class liked your experiment.

Twinkle: You want to know something, Rhys? I didn't think you would like me, and thought I was a geek.

KeepxOut #1: You? A geek? Nah! I like you too! Would you like to be my girlfriend?

Twinkle: Okay! As long as you be my boyfriend.

KeepxOut #1: Deal.

After the new couple ate, it was now time for Talia to go home.

Twinkle: I should go now. My parents might be home, and they could wonder on where I've gone.

KeepxOut #1: Okay. Thanks for coming over, Talia. I'll see you at school on Monday?

Twinkle: Absolutely. I've been working on a new experiment over Thanksgiving break. When we get back to school, I'll show you.

KeepxOut #1: I can't wait to see it.

Twinkle: Okay then. See you on Monday!

Talia waved goodbye and left Rhys' house.
